Squilf is incredibly short, that much is apparent. She has long red hair that she typically keeps tied back in a braid, or a ponytail if she's feeling lazy. Despite her height, she is lightly muscled, with a couple of scars on her body from fighting Thread. She has piercing blue eyes as well. She typically wears more casual clothes, often light in colors. Along with this, she has several freckles covering her body, notably her face and arms.

Squilf is a spitfire. She admittedly has a fiery temper and, being paired with her sharp tongue, it does not stop her from getting into arguments with those who are much more experienced with her. If she thinks something is stupid, she will announce her thoughts to everyone around. As a result, she finds it hard to get along with most people. She is also incredibly confident in her abilities. She believes what she knows is best and she isn't afraid to tell other people what her plans are. Sure, she probably won't end up in a leadership position, but she does have the potential to be a good leader to those who listen to her. She just needs to stop causing arguments and focus on grounding herself.
That being said, you'll be hard pressed to find a much more loyal of a friend. Squilf is someone who is incredibly loyal to her friends and those in her wing. Sure, she may not agree with some of the decisions that her wingleader makes, but she is someone who will go out of her way to help someone in her wing during Thread. As a result, she is known to get more injured during Thread as she'll risk injury to help someone in her wing. She is also a bit of a sisterly figure. She will listen to those who needs to talk and will try to give them advice as to help them. She is also incredibly active and typically goes out for a jog every morning before it's time for breakfast.

Squilf lived a pretty normal life. Her father was a dragonrider and worked hard to protect the weyr. Meanwhile, her mother was a weyrfolk and took care of their home. Squilf didn't really remember much of her father, due to him being busy with work. However, she aspired to be like him. Her older sister had chosen the path of a healer and, while Squilf often played with the children in the creche, she did not have many friends due to her attitude and fiery temper.
Honesty, the second Squilf turned fifteen, she signed up to become a candidate. She was honestly ecstatic to become a dragonrider like her father. She did not have to wait long to impress either. After a year of waiting, Tamiascith hatched and the two bonded almost instantly despite their different personalities. It almost seemed like they were complete opposites, but it worked for them.
Though, she could do without her dragon being snobby to other dragons.
Eventually, she graduated and took to the skies with her father. Her sister and mother were incredibly proud of her, but, eventually, Squilf wanted to set out on her own path. In the weyr, she always felt like her father's daughter and not her own person. She decided, upon her 26th birthday, that she would leave to go to a new weyr. After saying goodbye to her family, she made her way to Fort Weyr.
After all, it was in her destiny, she was sure of it!
