N'phi is tall and lean, with an often overconfident stance; yet very expressive movements, with a lot of hand gestures and over-dramatic flourishes whenever she speaks. She looks androgynous, sometimes preferring to present as feminine, other times preferring to present as masculine; she experiments with her gender expression as part of her style. She often wears fashionable clothes, dressing for style rather than practicality - fashion is all part of the performance, after all! Her skintone is an olive brown, and her eyes are a chestnut brown. Her hair is mid-length, relatively long, kept in a low plait, often with small accessories and flowers in it. Usually, she sports a very warm smile, when she is not talking or singing about something.

PERSONALITY:
N'phi is expressive, poetic, and great with words. According to her, there's no shame in decorating your speech with beautiful language. She loves to talk and sing, if anything, she never stops talking. Oftentimes she keeps a journal of her discoveries, and will craft it into a poem; she is intelligent, especially when it comes to writing and wordplay, alas her wisdom and application of life skills sometimes falter. She is very, very melodramatic, and actively enjoys making a scene - whether that be being opinionated, or making every moment of life as though she is acting in a play. It's never a quiet day with N'phi.
When she talks, she likes to charm, if people are comfortable - although flirting is in the roots of her personality, she does not like making people uncomfortable and will tone herself down if she is requested to, and will not flirt at all if younger people are around - she is a very responsible adult despite being somewhat unwise. In such a situation, she would rather be the comedic actor, using her words and her wit to make some funny poems rather than romantic ones. First and foremost, she loves to entertain, and will utilise her stories and songs to do so. She is a flatterer, despite being relatively inexperienced in romance, and has a lot of natural charisma. However, sometimes, she can be egocentric or vain - her self-esteem and confidence are high, but it can unfortunately come across as arrogance. She genuinely loves herself, and she's not afraid to be honest about it. Despite this, she has high empathy, and she understands people very well; because of this, she is diplomatic, and good at helping people out with their problems, moreso than her own problems. Sometimes, N'phi is way too stubborn to realise her faults, and can be overly melodramatic and does not take criticism well.

HISTORY:
N'phi was born to a large family in Fort Hold, being the youngest of six siblings. Hold life was not much of her idea of a future, but ever since she was young, she kept a journal, writing down all her thoughts and observations - and crafting them into poetry. This led into a love for songwriting and music, first picking up a musical instrument at 7 turns old - an old lute, passed down through the generations - and focusing her energy into learning how to play it; formally becoming an Apprentice Harper at age 10 at Harper Hall, not far from her home. When she was 18, she graduated to journeyman, and set off towards Telgar Weyr to continue her craft. Her family, despite being relatively distant from her due to having to juggle their affection between six children, gave her a good send-off and wished her the best.
At Telgar, she would go around, taking in everything she could see, and writing poems and music about it, becoming a travelling musician as part of her craft - not much for the pay, but more for the entertainment of others. At one point, she was offered a firelizard egg by someone who enjoyed her skill - she was shocked when a little green popped out of an egg, a very affectionate little flit, whom she often allowed to sit on her shoulder while she played her lute. After staying at Telgar for 2 turns, she was inspired to stand as a candidate, as seeing her flit hatch inspired her to want more - a dragon. When the mother laid her eggs, she waited intently - until a brown poked its head out of an egg with a smug expression on its face, not long afterwards, the dragon strode towards her, and Impressed to her. Spending time with Soloveth was soon her priority in life, but she never gave up on her passion for poetry. After graduating from weyrlinghood, they moved back to Fort Weyr - she has visited her family, since then, and welcomed her with open arms - they're all very proud of her! Aside from brief trips to the neighbouring Hold, she has mostly settled down at the Weyr in preparation to combat Thread and keep everyone safe.
