FULL APPEARANCE:
Orhm'in has a tanned olive complexion, with a mop of dull dark brown hair upon his head, with over-length bangs and pulled back into a tie behind him. While he keeps himself clean, his overall physical appearance makes it seem that he cares little for visual appearance. To the point he lets his long bangs droop over his face, usually concealing his eyes from other people (he can see perfectly fine though). Orhm'in has a bit of round plumpness to him, with round cheeks and a slight pudge to his gut. He's a solid type of guy and he's perfectly content like that. He tends to layer up with clothing, generally sporting simple garments with patterns adorning them.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Orhm'in is a relatively average and moderate person. He's not very outgoing but he'll make cheery conversation when suited. He's someone who is very content with himself, namely in the sense of 'he is what he is and he likes it just fine'. He has no reason to brag or convince anyone else that he's more than he appears. What you see is what you get. He enjoys his personal time and interests a great deal, so it's not uncommon for him to decline a social event to do something for himself instead. Which is usually a nap or just laying around. Not quite the definition of 'lazy', naps are just enjoyable~

In fact, one could describe him as the human equivalent of 'mush'. Orhm'in is so set in how he is, it would be near impossible for anyone to get him to amount to much of anything of impressive note. He doesn't see himself as a hero or grand or anything like that, and he won't attempt to be it such things. He's very happy just being a guy in the crowd, because you need a lot of faceless people in a crowd. On the flip side, he also doesn't take anyone's personal defamation to heart. Should they try and make him feel bad or guilty for something unwarranted, Orhm'in will remain relatively unphased by it. As a 'mush' – he can't be built up into anything bigger than he is, nor can he be broken down into anything less. Orhm'in is as he is. He's a guy with absolutely no personal ambition, other than getting to the next day and doing his expected lot in life and being content with that. As such, he can come off as either friendly, if you're on his playing field, or dismissive, if he's pushed towards a turf he knows he doesn't belong.

Orhm'in does have some traditionalist mindsets, when it comes to dragonriders, as those concepts are what he was raised on. Mentally he's had no reason to suddenly embrace anything else. So while he doesn't really think less of other people or dragons, it's hard for him to look past the idea that there is a hierarchy of dragons and whers for a reason. It's mostly in the realm of -a dragon is this size and can do this and that's what they're supposed to do.

HISTORY
FAMILY: Dragonrider parents, but not very involved with him, siblings probably. Alive.
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: N/A
BIRTHPLACE: Telgar Weyr
HISTORY:
Orhm'in, originally Orhmessin, came about in unremarkable circumstance to two dragonriders of Telgar. Immediately set to be raised in the creche, Orhmessin was very content to be squarely set in the middle of all the other children. Even at a young age, he quickly reasoned himself to be just one of many. While many other children attached themselves to the ideas of grand ambitions of getting high ranking dragons to make names for themselves, Orhmessin found himself reasonably happy where he was. Place to live, lots of friends and care offered to him. Sweet deal all around.

Even as the turns passed, Orhmessin kept to his 'median' type of mentality. What was the point trying for high rank positions, in leadership or crafting? That simply wasn't him; Orhmessin knew he'd do fine with basic work when he became an adult, and he'd be fine with that. If one aimed for something easily achieved, the likelihood of disappointment was greatly mitigated. Content as he was, when he came of age, the offering of candidacy was set before him, as it was to many of his other childhood peers. Being a creche raised kid, that did seem the thing to do, were it made available to you. Afterall, it wasn't a guaranteed path anyway. Orhmessin could see himself impressing to a Green or a Blue, maybe even a White. Nice average dragons, and if he aged out...well, he aged out and he'd just move on to craft or drudge work.
That all seemed perfectly reasonable.

So while he middled his way through his candidate years, Orhmessin was left standing for quite a few turns. Disappointing, but not terribly surprising in his view of things. Atleast until a bronze hatched in a downright tiraid. He snapped and growled and came from his shell like a brutal blast of rage; a force to be reckoned with. Orhmessin's plans for a mild mannered existence was turned upside down when Bronze Garth demanded he be his bonded. Unable to decline, Orhm'in had no choice.

Regardless of his new dragon, Orhm'in really couldn't embrace the mindset that he and Garth were meant for much for than the average. Fighting Thread and doing their expected lot. Despite what his rider thought, Garth had other ideals. He had a lot more ambition, so the two's weryling years were a bit.... turbulent between them.

Being a rather clashing pair, it took a number of turns for the two to mellow and mesh a bit more smoothly. Not perfectly, but they eventually got used to the other and more accepting. They had no choice otherwise, really. Eventually, Garth pushed for transfer to a new Weyr, to Fort. Being an ambitious dragon, it seemed a reasonable place to go.... as well as offering the two a fresh start since Garth burned quite of number of metaphorical bridges. While his rider was rather easy-going, Garth was not. Orhm'in, as always, was fine to coast along the middle line. Perhaps if Garth was somewhere else they could both just mesh into an unremarkable place together.

Bronze Garth
Image
(InCownito is not to scale)

BASICS

NAME: Garth
BIRTHDATE 2766
AGE: 10 as of 2776

APPEARANCE
LENGTH: 52ft
HEIGHT: 13ft
WINGSPAN: 84ft
COLOR: Bronze
HEX CODE: #ae813f
FULL APPEARANCE:
Garth is a rather large bronze, though not terribly bulky, and well within the range of his color rank. He boasts an impressive wingspan, capable of long periods of gliding and maneuverability. This doesn't make him very quick, but he'd not above tossing his bulk around against other dragons.

Garth's hide is notably a warm toned copper-like color, with much darker bronze hues running along the top of his head, spine, and wings, with a lighter variant 'frosting' the tips of his back and headknobs. As well as the same dark color on all four of his feet like high gloves. Garth's head shape is very triangular. (He is an angry triangle.) His underbelly has much warmer saturation to it, with a burning fiery star pattern emblazoned at his chest. He's an eyecatching beast, to say the least.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Garth is a highly ambitious dragon and has big plans for himself and his rider. He's likes feeling superior to others, and doesn't shy from commanding those he sees below him. While Orhm'in would, Garth offers little interest to Blue and Greens, or their riders. In truth, Garth has a terrible temper and can turn violent if angered enough.

Or rather, he would, were his rider's 'mushness' wasn't like an influential plague on him. While Garth initially chose Orhm'in in hopes of controlling a rider he saw as very mailable and weak-willed, in truth, his rider basically tones down the Bronze's less than favorable personality ticks. Afterall, Orhm'in won't be pushed into more than he deems out of their realm. The two will periodically butt-heads but have come to a mutual acceptance/almost fondness of eachother, over the turns. Garth basically forces Orhm'in to do more dragonrider things on occasion, and Orhm'in basically functions as a tossed blanket over the dragon-shaped problem. Garth, never the less, is an unpleasant bastard to 99% of everyone though. He desires to be the pinnacle example of a dragon, which can vary day to day, depending what's on his mind.

Garth's voice is very guttural and growly. He sounds annoyed and angry most of the time, and frankly he usually is.
