She enjoys wearing blues and greens, and as light fabrics as are practical in the weather at Fort as she dislikes feeling restricted and constrained by her clothing.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
- Social, Briolette is a good match for her wher in that she enjoys meeting new people and spending time with friends. Protective of her wher, they have a very tight relationship. She has a good head on her shoulders, managing to keep her headstrong wher in check.
Even as romantic as she is, Briolette has trouble finding one partner that she feels good being tied down to, preferring to have about three at once. She has a handful of children, adoring each one, none with the same father ... at least as far as Brio knows.
Briolette is generally pretty happy. She is naturally cheerful and outgoing. She tends to see the best in any given situation and rarely takes a dark turn. She is capable of being serious and is very responsible, but she sees the sunny side of things.
On the negative side of things, Briolette is an impatient woman who is capable of being selfish and even jealous. The only thing she's never really jealous about is lovers - they are expected to be as free as she is, and not to put ties on her. But she is selfish when it comes to Briosk's love and attention and is only really willing to 'share' her wher in a non-professional sense with her children ... who are all in the creche, and so she has a lot more one-on-one time with them than time with them and Briosk at the same time.
The brownhandler wants time for herself, to enjoy herself. She clings passionately to her personal time, and to her time with her children and her lovers. She is determined to have her own life outside of wherhandling, something that is made harder by her nocturnal schedule but which she still manages.

HISTORY:
- TW: UNCERTAIN PATERNITY
Born to a big family with varied crafts and occupations, Briolette was smack dab in the middle of ten siblings. Her parents were dedicated to each other and to their children and helping them all find their crafts, and Brio found herself with an interest in more physical activities.
At seventeen she went to Fort Weyr to become a wherhandler and immediately Impressed Brown Briosk. The big boy was completely affectionate and a good match for her, and the two of them grew close quickly. They were highly compatible and did well together, and in time developed into a very dependable team.
At twenty-two, Brio had her first child with an erstwhile lover, and Briosk immediately felt duty-bound to protect the infant. He was somehow even more protective of Briogine than Briolette was, and together they kept the boy completely from harm. The following children were equally loved and safe, for all that each of them came without a firmly named father.
Brio and Briosk fit well into the Dawn Squad of the Ground Crew, fighting Thread and fitting into life at the Weyr.
