While not the tallest woman on Pern, Lexien is hardly one to be overlooked. She is a woman who has seen much in her time, and she has the scars to prove it. She has a fighter's figure, all her strength in her arms and legs, and not much to show in between. She has long blonde hair, usually kept wrapped in a knot on her head to stay out of the way when she is working.. Her eyes are blue, and she is seeing her share of crow's feet at the corners of her eyes. She wears many sorts of clothes, usually dresses when she is not working, but always rides in trousers and high boots. She has several scars over her arms and back from fighting Thread.
PERSONALITYPERSONALITY:
Lexien is nothing if not a strong woman. She has been born and forged in the fires of conflict, and it shows when she serves her role as Greenrider. She commands respect of those around her, and will let no one write her off simply because she is a woman. Or that she rides Green. This does not mean that she is a cruel person, she is merely strong-willed and can be forceful at times. She is quite proud as well, sometimes to the point of arrogance. She has a fondness for both crowds and time alone, and she can sometimes be found in the baths late in the nights..
Concerning her children, Lexien has no real concern or care. She has more important things to do, and she holds no emotional connection to them. She shows total devotion to weyrlings, however. Having seen many of them fall to terrible ends during Threadfall, she has made it her duty to teach them as best she can in the hopes they survive. Her world is her dragon and her duties. She will let no one tear her asunder, and she will go down fighting. Sometimes she has her doubts that the peace will last, but she knows it is her duty to maintain it no matter the cost.
Since the loss of Quth, Lexien has fallen into a catastrophic depression. She continues to pretend that she can do her duties, and is very attentive to Weyrlings, however she is buried in a deep, unending sadness. She wanders the Weyr sometimes late at night, or finds her way into D'fid's weyr, finding comfort there.

Lexien was an only child of two wherhandlers, but she had never known them. She grew up in the creche as a strong, proud girl who never backed down from a fight. She was pretty notorious for defending other children, especially when it came to anyone who tried bullying the weak. It was a promise she swore to herself, that she would not let anyone get harmed on her watch. Be it from Thread or one another, they would be safe under her care.
She excelled at her candidate lessons, and showed no fear on the sands. She stood at many hatchings as soon as she could, and she was passed by for many a season before she finally found her match. She was 24, and had already had one child by a brownrider - her son, Maze, already in the creche and all but forgotten about. But she stood on the sands and waited patiently as the eggs cracked. It would have almost been her last, had a bright-faced green come streaking out of the shell to tackle her.
Lexien blazed through her training, gaining herself a fair share of broken bones in the process. She had no fear, no worries. That was what Quth was for, to help groom and shape her into a proper dragonrider. Lexien graduated with the rest of her class, taking on Threadfall soon as she was able. She was a powerful woman, commanding respect from those who crossed her.
After the birth of her second child when she was 30, Lexien devoted herself more fully to her Wing. She was determined to ensure that they succeeded, and more than once petitioned to become Wingsecond, but was never granted the title as of yet. She continues to work herself and her wing, ensuring that the threat of Thread is all that passes in this new age on Pern. She found her calling in teaching weyrlings, and became quite devoted to the job.

- Summer 2761 - fired from Weyrlingmaster position, weyrlings rioted. Was soon reinstated.
- Winter 2761 - gave birth to a daughter (named Lucky) with her partner, Bucky of Brown Teveth
- Late Summer 2764 - Green Quth dies in Threadfall, Lexien becomes Dragonless.
- Early Fall 2766 - Reimpressed to Brown Mikazuchith
- Early Spring 2771 - Lexien's right leg is crushed between stone and dragon, permanently causing her to need crutches to walk.
