FULL APPEARANCE:
At 6' 5" tall, Themamila is a strong young man, his build speaking to a life spent at manual labor. Between hair as black as midnight, eyes as green as spring grass, and skin light as ivory, he's a handsome man. A large scar cuts along his jaw and almost tugs at his lips, a token of a life Them cannot recall. Regarding his wardrobe, he dresses as finely as he can among those superior to him in status, but he still puts forth great effort to look more than those who share his social standing. Otherwise, he dresses more casually if he feels relaxed enough in someone's company, wearing a common shirt and breeches alongside his usual boots.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Themamila is proud, haughty, and incredibly confident. In fact, dress him in finery and one might take him for a Lord Holder, rather than a farmer's son. While he may be rather intelligent, in addition to cunning and crafty, he looks down on those he sees as intellectually inferior to him. Absolutely callous and uncaring of how his words might hurt others, he'd unflinchingly insult your mother and do it again in a heartbeat. Blunt and straightforward, he's rather difficult to engage thanks to his independent and headstrong nature. Attentive to avoid appearing weak, he absolutely refuses to accept help from others, regardless if it means his task may result in defeat.
If Themamila is cunning, he's undoubtedly devious, vicious, and merciless too. Stand in his path and he'll do what's necessary to remove you. Sowing rumors, shifting blame, everything; it's all a means to an end to Them. Upon being insulted or slighted, while his wrath is guaranteed, it isn't always swift. Very patient and calculating, Them is more than willing to play a long game to see his vengeance fulfilled to its greatest potential. Often, he likes to put forth airs of grandiosity, appearing more than what he seems, like a cobra fanning his hood to ward off an eagle. Them is someone that learns from his mistakes, which means he makes fewer mistakes later as a result. A quick learner and one who thinks on his feet, he's careful to always be on guard and prepared for everything.
Though it might not be obvious from an outsider's perspective, but under all that bluff and bluster, Themamila is actually very insecure and uncertain. Being unable to recall his childhood, though he knows his story from his adoptive parents, he can't help but question if what he knows is true or a well-fabricated lie. Unable to trust himself or rely on his memory, he sees fit to barricade himself from others to protect himself. All he considers in a friendship is whether or not engaging someone will grant him some measure of power in a harsh and unforgiving world, for he sees himself as powerless, as infuriating as that is to him. Struggling to surface before he drowns in what he doesn't know, Them is always looking for that leg up, no matter if he might condemn someone else to save himself.

BIRTHPLACE: An inconsequential cothold of Crom Province
HISTORY: TW: death, major injury, amnesia
Some say karma will forsk you up. But karma can't hold a candle to amnesia.
Though he cannot recall it, Themamila was born to common miners in a cothold of Crom, though he was still decidedly unpleasant and ornery as a child. Learning his trade through observation before practice, he began to work alongside his parents, mining metal and stone for use above ground. But fate is a fickle thing, seeing Them in for a strange and turbulent ride. After mining into his early teens, a terrible accident robbed Them of both his mother and his memories, giving him a great scar along his jaw; a constant reminder of an injury that changed his life forevermore, but one he cannot recall acquiring.
It was thought Themamila wouldn't wake up, after that mining tunnel collapsed almost on top of him. But awaken he did, dazed and confused, no memory of his family and friends. While staying far from his son to avoid confusing him further, his grieving and ill-equipped father couldn't fathom caring for a child in such a state, in which time he made a major decision: he sent his son to a cothold in Fort, where he might live far from a life that took so much from him. All but one agreed: Them's older brother, a dedicated miner and wherhandler both, Them's closest confidante. Though he tried to protest, his brother was overruled. Seeing as Them himself was in no condition or mindset to refuse or speak for himself, he was relocated to Fort, in care of friends of his family.
That is where Themamila believes he's lived all his life, though he's still as cross as ever. To him, his father is a farmer and his mother a dedicated Healer, while his two younger sisters are nothing but trouble. After recovering from his injuries,, Them "returned" to working on his family's farm, alongside his father and sisters. But as Turns went by, he couldn't help but feel odd. Why did he feel so comfortable in company of whers, though he didn't recall being near one before, while his sisters fled in terror and his parents steered clear? How could he tell that a water source was tainted by stone leeching into it, by sight and smell?
These questions were increasingly harder to contain as Turns saw Themamila into adulthood, his uncertainty always simmered under his cantankerous surface. Though his "parents" kept nothing from him upon being confronted, he couldn't help but feel utterly furious, not to mention betrayed and somewhat hurt. But a Searchdragon from Fort proved a more than adequate diversion from his thoughts. A rather amused garnet time and time again confirmed her selection: Themamila was a worthy Candidate. Though his comments were less-than-charitable for his company, Them accepted Search. Here was a chance to be more than a farmer and perhaps a small part of him wanted to see his family proud, though he was still angry at them. Gathering his things and pinching his sisters goodbye, Them traveled to Fort Weyr.
(Used major trait for amnesia.)
