FULL APPEARANCE:
Honoroit is of average height and a slender build, nothing really stand out about it. His body shape is more height than weight and his mother often worries he does not eat enough, as he hardly ever seems to put on weight or real muscle mass. While he does enjoy walks and there is some lifting and moving involved in his work, its not as if he is a physically active person, preferring to stay out of the elements and work.
He has dark reddish brown hair that seems more washed out in color as he ages and pale green eyes framed by long lashes. His nose and lips are petite and suit his rounded face well enough. He dresses as nicely as he can afford to, in simple browns and grays, though he does own a nice outfit for special occasions. He leans towards clothing that fits comfortably and not billowing about loosely.

PERSONALITY:
Honoroit is a very serious and goal oriented young man. He takes his studies and assignments with the upmost importance and is a very responsible lad, and can be seen as highly reliable to get a task completed on time, sometimes he even can have it done early and correctly. A self perfectionist, he is overly critical on himself and will often push himself harder than needed to make sure he does a thing right the first time and is given to private fits of frustration at his own mistakes.
His social life is a mess of anxiety, being very shy and timid, he does not do well with crowds of people and until he knows someone well, he will be soft spoken, stammering and quaking mess. This trait has made it a challenge for him to have any meaningful relationships and making friends, much to his own dismay. He is also not good at being assertive except in extreme instances with a clear moral " right" and "wrong" answer.
He is also struggling not only with the onset of puberty, but questioning everything about himself, his gender, his orientation.. does he even want to be romantically involved with someone? These questions often plague him when he has time he can dwell on them and he is struggling with the courage to actually share these insecurities with someone, fearing their reaction and judgement.

HISTORY:
Honoroit or Roi as he was nicknamed by his sisters, was born to his parents as their only son and youngest child. He was a quiet and almost withdrawn child, preferring to avoid other children and often was quiet when they would speak to him, which made it difficult for him to make friends, as he did not put the effort forth to socialize.
Concerned with his lack of desire to do so, his parents began to gently try to nudge him along and his sisters often took him with them to play and after a few months of this, he began to speak a bit more and it became obvious he was simply just very painfully shy and timid. Relieved that there was some progress, his parents stepped back a bit and let him be himself. When he was old enough, he apprenticed to the Scribes, like his father before him and left home to begin his apprenticeship at Fort Weyr.
While he was not the most social creature, here he blossomed, his ability to learn and passion for writing, language and history lent itself beautifully to his craft and while he was not noteworthy, he was a hard worker and practiced his writing in his spare time, taking to journal keeping as one way to keep his skills sharp. Passionate about the rich history of Fort, he often lost himself in books and scrolls depicting the events of history and enjoyed his lessons with his instructors.
As he blossomed into teenage years, he began to question everything about himself and that included if he really wanted to live as a male as he was born. For the time being, he has kept all these uneasy questions inward, as he feels his parents would not be very understanding if he gave it voice. Besides.. if he is not even sure, then why put himself through the stress of such a conversation?
Over the last two years and hitting his growth towards his young adulthood, he is noticing his budding attraction to not just one gender or the other, that honestly, he didn't care the gender of the partner and this has only put his mind in further turmoil. Thankfully.. he has a job to do and focus on and that will keep him rooted firmly. Also the flit that was a gift from his family for his 15th birthday, as Viorel is his only real friend and often a source of comfort when he needs it.
But the questions and doubts remain and someday.. he will have to give voice to them. But he is young and has plenty of time to deal with that later right?
