FULL APPEARANCE:
Sorey is a young man of average height, with brown hair and vibrant green eyes. He keeps his hair cut short, shaped nicely to his head. He considers himself reasonably attractive, though that is obviously up for debate depending on the observer. Despite being a rider, he has no notable scars or blemishes on his skin, though does have his upper-ears pierced. When it comes to clothing, Sorey prefers to wear simple garments in blues and tans when possible, and the odd decoration of feathers.

PERSONALITY:
Curious, if a bit naive, Sorey is certainly a spirited man. He is easygoing, friendly, and kindhearted, though with this kindness comes a bit of a downside--he can be overbearing. When he happens upon someone who may be troubled in one way or another, he finds it within his code to try and lighten their spirits or otherwise find a way to help them out, even if they don't want him to. He also puts others first and foremost, to the point where it can sometimes be detrimental to his own health and well-being. It's not so much that he forgets to take care of himself, he simply views it as lesser than the task provided to him by the other person. This can be particularly bad when dealing with the former instance, as he can be quite stubborn when push comes to shove. Luckily he'll usually listen to reason... if he has to.
Sorey is also a terrible liar--even those who don't know him at all can tell when he even so much as attempts to do so. He loves history and will badger Harpers for tales of the past whenever he has free time, listening with rapt attention to even stories and songs that he's heard before.

Sorey was born a single child to a pair of journeyman harpers, who fell in love with each other as much as their craft. From a young age, they wove stories for their son of the past and instilled in him a deep fascination with history as a result. Initially their intent was simply to entertain a boisterous child, but little did they know how fascinated said child would become. As he grew older and made friends, he would often entertain them with games of make-believe, where they were finding ruins of old and forgotten places and things.
Although he intended to pursue his parents' path of being a Harper and continuing to delight others with tales and stories and songs, he was Searched at fifteen. While initially hesitant to accept due to wanting to pursue his Harper studies, he quickly changed his tune when his close friend--and at that time very secret crush--Mikleo was also deemed Rider-material in the same Search. He decided then and there that could always continue at the Weyr outside of his Candidate duties, and if he failed to Impress he would for sure have a future in mind for himself!
Life at the Weyr was much different than life at the Hold. He found freedom in places he didn't know he could, like being able to finally express his feelings for his friend without fear of social repercussion. For almost two Turns he stood without Impressing, though remained optimistic--and then the fateful day would come that he would finally bond to his dragon, a lovely little green named Camlanth with whom he instantly felt a connection to. Well, moreso one than a dragon and rider felt when they bonded, of course. The two were perfectly synced.
Through Weyrling training, he and his dragon became better acquainted and their bond grew only stronger, though at two turns when they graduated, they opted to transfer to High Reaches with their now-weyrmate Mikleo.
