HAIR: Brown
HEIGHT AND BUILD: 6'1"
PLAY-BY: made by me in heroforge
FULL APPEARANCE: F'inn's build can be described as 'average'; he is slightly above average height, not too broad or muscular, but a little bit chubby. He often stands with a slight slouch, giving off a calm, laid-back feel. He tends to wear comfortable, practical clothes that don't get in the way, too much. He has warm, medium-brown skin, and a round face, framing his dark brown eyes. He has curly, dark brown hair that rests just above his shoulder, and a decent amount of stubble on his chin.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
F'inn is laid back, relaxed, and level-headed; bordering on aloof, occasionally. Yet, he keeps himself positive, and doesn't like to show negative emotion, or weakness, in public. That said, he doesn't really get angry, if something bothers him, he mostly just gets disappointed. He is good at maintaining his composure in the face of stress or danger, and talks through issues he has, and isn't afraid to say if he has a problem with something. He has a kind heart, and good empathy, as well as a willingness to help and uplift others. He is a good listener, but he doesn't have many strong opinions, and almost never voices them; if he is with someone particularly outspoken, he will just listen to them rant and nod along with what they're saying. He is incredibly confident, but also very vain, not so much appearance-wise, but he will insist that he is the coolest guy in the Weyr, and will often big up his abilities - he also enjoys it when other people inflate his ego, reveling in the attention and praise. Despite this, he also wants and encourages other people to believe in themselves, too. He is honest, and sees little point or purpose in lying, yet can often be blunt, or brutal, and has no shame in telling it like it is, no matter how harsh the truth may be.

Though he is intelligent, and wise, F'inn has an incredibly poor short-term memory - as well as this, his organisational skills are bad, and often has to rely on excessive note-taking to get anything done; he isn't very good at juggling his tasks, and doesn't have great focus or attention span, nor does he have any sense of deciding which tasks need to be prioritised. He can be somewhat lazy, as he isn't very proactive, and will push a lot of issues off as a 'tomorrow problem' or a 'next sevenday problem', until they become an emergency - he sometimes will just let other people do the work for him if he simply doesn't feel like it, or feels like doing something entirely different. He likes to live in the moment, not particularly worrying about what may happen in the future; that said, he likes to be positive and optimistic. Though he likes to help others and give them advice, he doesn't particularly like accepting assistance, and believes he is fine to take on any task by himself, when he gets around to doing it, that is.

HISTORY
FAMILY:
- Mother: Faera
- Father: Guinndanar
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: N/A
BIRTHPLACE: A cothold, beholden to High Reaches Weyr
HISTORY:
Faerguinn had a happy childhood; he was born to two holders, being extremely doted upon by his parents - whenever they weren't working, they would be devoting all of their time and attention to their son, giving him nothing but love and affection. He got on well with the other kids in the hold, making friends fairly easily - among his friends, he was often the 'dad friend' - the one who would end up in the middle of the other kids' fights and arguments, and try to mediate. As he got older, it took him time to understand the need for responsibility - growing up meant chores, which was something he liked to pretend didn't exist, as much as he could. He just wanted to play, and relax, and enjoy his life - duties, and hard work, weren't ever something he liked very much. But, he knew, it was a part of growing up - as much as he tried to put it off, he did it, albeit in a bit of a grump.

At age fifteen, in the spring of 2766 - he was Searched; he accepted the offer, and said goodbye to his parents. He moved to High Reaches proper, getting the hang of Weyr and Candidate life - of course, it required a lot of work. Lessons weren't much of a struggle, for his practical skills were good, even though it took him a few tries to actually remember what he'd learned - he'd gotten better at it once he'd learned to write, and take notes of what he was being told. He didn't look forward to duties, ever. Anything task didn't need to be met with immediacy, he would procrastinate on, often to the point where he was met with less-than-friendly reception from the authorities. Under their watchful eye, he did what he had to do - and as soon as he realised the punishment for slacking off was more chores, he realised the better option was to just... do what was necessary. Begrudgingly.

As a candidate, he'd only had the chance to stand at one of Terminath's clutches before she went Between, and High Reaches was left without a clutching gold. Though he didn't have any particularly strong opinions on whether or not High Reaches needed, or didn't need a gold, he'd heard a lot from other candidates - in which case, he'd just sit back and listen. They had their opinions, their ideas, and that was up to them, and that was fine by him. Yet - still, no dragon had come to him, not even from the greens and garnets that provided eggs to the Weyr. It was in the autumn of 2770 when Aldoeith hatched, his main thought on the matter being 'oh, cool, more eggs' and little more. Yet, there were multiple occasions in the Candidate Barracks wherein he felt he had to step in between arguments, just to calm the situation. It even amazed him that one dragon could be so controversial.

When Toki and Aldoeith announced they would be moving to Benden, Faerguinn simply wondered about the future of High Reaches; would they continue only receiving eggs from greens and garnets, or would they eventually get another gold? The Weyr's future would entirely rest on whether or not there was a gold in Aldoeith's maiden clutch. And when the time came, only the second egg hatched Gold Galdeneth, impressing to a man, and causing a fight on the sands - yet, his attention was stolen away when the sixth egg in the clutch yielded a particularly bright, fiery garnet. One that looked at him with a demand for action and a whirling rainbow in her eyes - he Impressed! To garnet Empyreth! She had a strong and powerful personality; something he definitely needed, to motivate him, to give him a push - his relaxed demeanour and her strong presence would definitely balance each other out.

RUNS/FLIGHTS: 2

APPEARANCE
LENGTH: 35ft
HEIGHT: 8.75ft
WINGSPAN: 52.5ft
COLOR: Garnet
HEX CODE: #fd3252
FULL APPEARANCE:
A smaller garnet than most, Empyreth nonetheless has a strong sense of what some might call "presence" or "gravitas." She holds herself like a queen and it seems to fit her just fine. Her build is long and slender. She has long legs and a narrow body, with wide wings almost like a a cloak. Her hide is a dark, striking red, fading into a lighter color along her belly and the edges of her wings. A darker color swirls across her hide, looking almost like flames in the right light.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Empyreth is a dragon with a dignified air, a natural leader and a commanding creature. She seems like a great dragon, being confident in those around her and keeping spirits high with praise when it is deserved. She has a fear of small rodents. Deep down, however, she desires change. Turn all of Pern on its head. Equality for all under her banner. However, she has no limits, and may veer into rather extremist views if no one is there to hold her in check. Not all of her ideas are terrible, but one must take care that she does not cross too many lines, for there are few that will stop her.

To her rider, Empyreth is somewhat more... normal. She wants to share this new world with them, to learn and see what she can learn and what she can use. The ends will always justify the means. She will only let her rider give her a nickname, something private between them that she finds affectionate. She has a dream, and a passion, and she adores her rider, even if she is more open to showing it in private.

Voice: Empyreth's voice is strong and commanding. She sounds regal and powerful.
