Madoka is one of those girls who looks younger than her true age. Many think that at first glance she is still a teenager and its not until they are around her, or see how old her Garnet is that they realize her true age. She has a cute, smooth skinned face with larger deep brown eyes, a small nose and a mouth that smiles easily. She is a little under average height, which doesn't help people's impression of her. Her lack of self confidence leads her to shrink into herself, making her appear even smaller. Her build is average for her frame though. Madoka has dark red hair that goes to just below her shoulder blades.
Her clothing style is demure, and she favors loose fitting tops and skirts, though she'll wear trousers when training or riding Homurath. Her colors tend toward pastel shades. She really isn't into dressing up, though she does have one nice outfit for occasions that demand it.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Madoka is naive and gentle girl. She can be shy at times, but still manages to make friends pretty easily. She treats other gently and with respect. She is level-headed and usually able to make decisions on her own, though as Homurath's influence on her has grown, she tends to defer to the choices her dragon makes. She is self-less, thinking of her friends and loved ones before herself.
She has low self-confidence and believes herself to not have much to offer others, thus why she decided to become a Candidate. A rider was always worth something, in her mind. She is easily flustered and can be manipulated by those who realize they can take advantage of her kindess and desire to help people. Homurath is one of the worst to do this, though she doesn't seem to realize it. To her, Homurath is perfect and she loves her dragon completely.

HISTORY:
Madoka was born to a pair of weyrmated riders in Ista Weyr. Her youth was average, nothing really interesting of note happening, other than her getting a younger brother when she was 10. She did okay at her Harper lessons and had a few friends. Working with the Healers was her main past time, and she apprenticed to them officially when she was old enough.
She loved Healing, but she wanted to Impress a dragon. So at 15, she entered Candidacy. Madoka did make sure to keep Healing as her back up. It was only a couple seasons later that she found Garnet Homurath hatching and making the girl hers. Homurath changed everything for Madoka.
The pair made it through Weyrling training, but she withdrew from her friends and family, relying more on Homurath's advice. The pair joined the fighting wings and began flighting thread.
Homurath had her first flight, and was caught by a Blue. His rider developed a thing for Madoka, and it seemed Madoka might have been developing something for her as well. The Blue managed to catch Homurath in her future flights too.
Though Madoka wasn't quite sure why, Homurath started insisting they transfer to a different Weyr. She claimed it was due to a disagreement with another dragon and she didn't want to be around them anymore. Madoka didn't really understand, but she trusted Homurath. So she put in a transfer into High Reaches Weyr.
