Flora is a slim young woman with long caramel brown hair that goes down past her back. She often keeps her hair in a ponytail. She has eyes the same color as the plants she loves and she often wears soft colors, similar to the colors found on flowers.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Flora is a kind-hearted woman, often going out of her way to help those in need. She often carries a friendly smile and works hard for others. Even as a child, she had a fondness of plants and, if she had not want to become a healer, there is the possibility she would have become a farmer. She is very considerate of other people's feelings as well, often helping them if they are feeling down.
However, she is also shy, very shy. She tends to repress her negative feelings and thus, can be insecure with her own thoughts. She will lie to herself and say she's happy, even when she isn't. This can also affect her work, as she can struggle with thoughts such as 'You aren't going to help them', 'You're a bad healer', 'You stay in the weyr the whole time.. You'll never be able to save someone's life if they're injured on the battlefield'. This causes her to second guess herself while working.
She tends to collect medical herbs and plants for a better selection of medicines and treatments for her patients. She can also be seen drawing pictures of plants in a notebook, which is filled with notes about said plants.

HISTORY:
Flora came from a long line of healers, all residing in Ista Weyr. She lived a pleasant childhood, often spending her time with other children from the weyr. She lived a fairly simple life. As her parents were also riders, she planned on becoming one as well.
While her parents were supportive of her and said she could be whatever she wanted to be, Flora wanted to follow in her parents' and grandparents' footsteps and become a healer. At the age of ten, she started her apprenticeship. She trained as a dragon healer, entering candidacy at the age of fifteen.
Flora went three years without impressing, though it did not bother her in the slightest. She was an apprentice to a healer and she knew that, once she impressed, she would need to take some time off of her apprenticeship to focus on learning to become a dragonrider. Shortly after her birthday, Linpheth hatched and it seemed as if they were a perfect match. The green had Flora's same fondness towards plants and her same desire to help those in need.
Eventually, the rider decided to transfer weyrs. She was a bit sad about leaving her family, but her family encouraged her to travel there if she wanted. After all, there could be new opportunities to learn there and her parents encouraged her to follow her heart. Thus, Flora transferred after graduating to High Reaches Weyr.
She was a bit disturbed about the appearing eggs. However, Ista still continued to support High Reaches, despite the egg theft. Who was she to question it, after all?
