FULL APPEARANCE:
Duncan tries his best to be elegant. Always holding himself upright with a straight posture and walking with purpose. He dresses with big poofy white shirts, warm in winter and cool in spring (according to him) , pairing it with beautiful patterned waistcoats except in warmer weather. Due to him still being so young, Duncan has still a long way to grow, his legs seem too long for the rest of his body. Duncan is not overly concerned with being clean, after all two baths a week should be enough! But his clothes? He demands they must be clean and immaculate. Even if many of his clothes are hand-me-downs, he still uses them, having them fixed to fit him.

Duncan is a young man brimming with unbridled ambition and an unquenchable thirst for achieving his dreams. He possesses a tenacity that is both inspiring and, at times, challenging to navigate. Once he sets his sights on a goal, he clings to it with determination.
Stubbornness is a defining trait of Duncan's character. He firmly believes in the power of his convictions and is unyielding in his stance. However, this unwavering nature is not without its cracks. The influence of his siblings, his closest confidants and the sole individuals capable of penetrating his stubborn exterior, can gradually mold his perspectives. His siblings are the most important people to him, he is thankful to them for guiding him and helping him through out his life.
In his quest for affirmation and connection, Duncan seeks the attention of his siblings earnestly. When he feels their focus waning, he employs a determined, almost endearing, persistence. He shadows them, demanding their engagement until they grant him the consideration he craves.
Duncan's journey of self-discovery once led him to aspire to become an apprentice harper, envisioning himself as a creator of music and stories. He has a remarkable love for nature and all that is alive, from the tunnel snakes to the most sweet songbird. He wished to share this admiration he felt with everyone but the allure of becoming a rider captivated his imagination. The grandeur of soaring through the skies on the back of a dragon eclipsed all other aspirations.

He thinks that even though bad things happen, everyone has the ability to make a positive impact. For Duncan, being kind and good isn't just about personal values, but a way to make things better. HISTORY:
Being the youngest of all his siblings, Duncan grew up with his mind set on that he would become a dragonrider). There was no doubt about it. He would become one no matter what A Path had been paved for him by his older brother, Lau’ren. A man he remembered with much fondness and love even if he had next to no memories of him and Cedrateth . Having been told stories about him, Duncan had in his mind what he thought Lau’ren was like and how he exactly looked like. He knew his story and how he wanted to ride a bronze but ended up with a peculiar blue.
Growing up as the youngest was a blessing for Duncan. Always being babied after by siblings, he got away with doing less chores and dedicated his time to admire nature. From the flowers to the blistering heat, he always found beauty in his surroundings, writing his observations and thoughts about it in a hide bound book. Bit by bit, siblings grew up and left. He was forced to take charge of many things around the house, patiently waiting for the day that riders would arrive and take him.
On his 15th turn, his family got him a fire lizard egg. It hatched into Bronze Sunburn, named like due to his colourings .For once, Duncan felt somewhat closer to his bronze rider sister or Lau’ren. The longing to join them grew stronger in his heart, if he could’ve ran to High Reaches , he would’ve.
A little after his 16th Turn, search riders arrived at the hold. He was alerted by Sunburn’s excitement and nothing could’ve stopped him from running out that door and presenting himself to the first rider and dragon he came across. Having been chosen, Duncan packed his bags and trusty book, and left home. Arriving first at Igen Weyr, his aim was to get to High Reaches as soon as possible, he had to meet his older brother and sister!
After convincing a rider to take him, Duncan arrived at High Reaches Weyr. Head held up high and fire lizard posed on his shoulder. Who knows what types of adventures he’ll get up to there? But his first mission? Find Lau’ren and his blue Cederateth.
