FULL APPEARANCE: Din is an average sized girl, standing at 5'9" and has the build of one who is used to the exertion of dancing. She keeps her brown hair long, usually tied up in a ponytail so that it sways as she moves and her brown eyes are a similar shade to her hair. She is elegant in form, slim and toned. Her face is usually baring a mischievous grin. She loves well fitted clothes that allow her free range of motion and she favors shades of red and pink.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Din is a very energetic person who loves to have fun. She is always up for a good time, and she loves to make people laugh. She is friendly and not one to pass up the chance to make a new friend. She loves to "introduce" herself by asking people to dance with her. She doesn't care if they are amazing or tripping over their own two feet. She believes wholeheartedly that dance can bring people together and create joy.
Din is kind hearted and concerned about the well-being of others, wanting to do her best to help them if they are feeling down. However, her idea of "help" tends to be dancing, which may or may not work out depending on the person.
She has a competitive streak though and doesn't like to be outshone. She wont hesitate to show off if she is confident she can pull it off (she's rarely not confident she can pull it off). Din can also be a bit impulsive and reckless. She often rushes into situations without thinking through the consequences.
One thing Din will never do though, is turn her back on her sisters. She is very close to Nayru and Farore, and if they ask something of her, she will do it, no questions asked. She adores both of them.

HISTORY: Din was born the middle child to to a Master Harper and her husband. Her life was pretty set from the get go, ad her mother intended her children to follow her as Harpers. Din was more interested in dancing than singing or playing, but she was competent enough to join as an Apprentice when she was a preteen.
She has plans with her siblings to make Journeyman and travel together on assignments, however when she was 17, a dragon came on Search to the Hall. His rider regaled the young woman with tales of being a rider and fighting Thread, drawing her in. She asked her parents to allow her to go if the dragon found her suitable, and they agreed.
She put herself forward to be Searched and was happy to find that the dragon did see her as Candidate material. So she gave her siblings and parents tearful goodbyes before finding herself at High Reaches Weyr.
She honestly enjoyed her Candidacy, learning about dragons and how the Weyr worked. She stood for the clutches as they happened, but she hasn't been chosen yet. She doesn't have any issue with being looked over, however, as she's confident her dragon will come when it's time.
