He has short cut strawberry blond hair and and warm hazel brown eyes often full of warmth and amusement, his skin is slightly tannish from spending a lot of time outside whenever he gets the chance.
He has a bit of a goatee, which like his hair, is well kept and maintained, as he takes pride in his appearance. He tends to wear earth tones in his clothing and dresses sensibly and comfortably in simple tunics, shirts and well fitted breeches.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Alistair is a very laid back and kind man, if a bit of an oblivious airhead at times. When asked about himself, he does not hold back, loving to speak with fondness about his mother and life on the farm and how much he just LOVES dragons, everything about them fascinates him. He does get very defensive when mocked for being soft hearted and anything he is inexperienced at.
He often struggles with dealing with problems and his problem solving skills are hardly there, often looking to someone else around him to come up with an idea to fix something. He also does not make decisions well for himself and is happy to just let someone else take the lead and make it for him, making him quite a pushover.
Though despite this, he does have a strong moral sense of right and wrong and his conscience often factors into everything he says or does. This feeds into his lack of reaching a choice, due to trying to predict every possible outcome until someone around him gets irritated and makes the call for him.
Despite his shortcomings, Alistair has a very kind heart and often will try to lift the spirits of anyone around him and treasures any friends he makes like they are the purest of light. He is also a bit of a hopeless romantic and prone to flights of fancy with words. He is also so pure that sexual jokes and humor often go right over his pretty head.

HISTORY:
Alistair was born to a farmer mother and a father that he has no idea whom is and his mother never cared to speak of it. He was a happy and easy going baby who was always easily amused and didn't give his mother much troubles. When he was five years old, his mother married a kind man named Haloran and he instantly took a shine to the young lad and took to immediately calling him his own son, even as the couple welcomed three more children into the fold.
As he got old enough to help, Alistair loved working on the farm with his parents, never shying away from hard work and often would talk to the crops, believing that the nicer he was to them, the more likely the harvest would be bountiful. When he was 14, he began to really become more than merely fascinated with dragons.. he wanted to be a rider.
Fate seemed to embrace his desires, as he was searched a few days after his 16th birthday and off he was to chase his dreams. He threw himself headlong into his candidacy and attempted to make friends with his fellows. Facinated by the flits he seen others around him having , Alistair decided to purchase a flit egg with the marks he had saved up. It hatched into a very lovely little gold that he named Andraste.
However, each standing he walked away from, his social circle grew smaller and smaller. He became disheartened by this and feeling a bit lonely, so he spoke as much to his father and mother when he was able to visit with them and they brought him a companion.. the family dogs had a litter.. and they saved the biggest pup for him. The presence of the dog actually helped soothe his sorrow a bit and gave him something else to focus on with the spare time he had. Between lessons, he took the time to train the animal, which seemed to catch on very quickly.
Perhaps the next would be the one.. right?
