HAIR: Curly dark brown hair, about shoulder length. Sometimes worn in a man bun, or half up, half down. A little bit on on unkept side.

FULL APPEARANCE:
Small, dark, and wiry would be good words to describe Imraan. His hair is usually worn in a messy bun on top of his head, his face covered with a neat beard in the summer, something heavier and gristly in the winter: and his eyes almost always sparkling with good humor.
He is slightly below average height, and in clothing appears deceptively lean, despite being quite muscular. Not the easiest person to spot in a crowd, and with a pleasant but forgettable face.
Oftentimes dressed in easy going and comfortable yet practical clothing, the most noticeable feature about him physically would be the odd mix of half knitted scarves, somewhat badly woven tunics, and slightly ill-fitting shirts or jackets: all clothing he proudly wears as examples of his sisters’ handiwork.

Imraan is a happy go lucky, positive person. He enjoys life with a passion and overall has a very optimistic outlook on most situations. He has everything he needs, doesn’t he? Loving parents. Adorable sisters. An amazing opportunity to stand as a dragon candidate. What else could he want?
A hard worker who stubbornly believes effort = rewards, he strives to be the best son, best brother, and best candidate he can be. If he falls short of his goal? Well, at least he has tried. He enjoys his work, being a provider to his family, and now his (somewhat belated) duties as a dragon candidate.
Imraan’s overly enthusiastic and optimistic view of the world does give him a tendency of making rash decisions, and not being able to follow through. He has big dreams: and oftentimes, they simply remain as unrealized dreams. His efforts to multitask on various priorities has failed spectacularly in the past. To which Imraan would brush off his failures and laugh, exclaiming that he has “learnt a valuable lesson”.
Imraan is a very physical person, and delights in meeting new people. He is a tactile learner, and while he can read and write at a rudimentary level, he does not have the patience for such work or responsibilities. He much prefers meeting people, storytelling with words and body language, and learning hands on by interacting with his environment.
Imraan does not have a head for politics. But he has strong beliefs in what is right and wrong. The more time he spends at High Reaches, the more he realizes it is important for every individual to stand up for what they believe in: and Imraan is trying his best to set a good example for his sisters.

HISTORY:
Imraan was born to a quietly happy couple who lived off of the land on a family farm. The eldest of five, his three sisters were born successfully every two turns, each arrival coddled and celebrated. His brother was a happy surprise to his parents: the youngest and the baby of the family.
Beholden to a minor hold, the farm they called home was enough to sustain a family of five, but not enough quite enough to support a family of seven. From a young age, Imraan considered himself the “second head” of the house, and has strived to find work where he could to better support his house.
Imraan picked up many odds jobs through his life- it spurred the better part of his personality in being able to approach and work with strangers. Always with a laugh and a smile, willing to lend a helping hand. When he was a child, he ran errands where he could, memorizing messages and carrying goods between farms and households. As he grew older, he gained steady work through each Turn- following the harvest cycle of crops, relying on his strength and his hands.
In his youth, he was too busy thinking about his sisters and his baby brother, to really think about what he wanted to do in life.
Imraan has a very close relationship with his siblings, and adores his sisters. Two sisters showed talent for weaving and sewing: Imraan continues to wear their “early work”, proudly showing off scarves, shirts, and jackets made by his sisters.
When Imraan is 20 his two youngest sisters head to Weavercrafthall, and Imraan is dismayed that his family is smaller. A family of five is easier to feed through the harvests of a farm than a family of seven, but his parents are older, and Imraan continued to do what he can to support them.
When Imraan is 23, a searchrider and dragon arrive at the minor hold, to see if there are those amongst the holders who would be eligible candidates. His brother attends, with hope in his eyes- but Imraan is too busy thinking of his family’s future to dream of dragons.
Imraan is disappointed for his brother when he is not searched. What a beautiful dream it could have been.
When Imraan is 25, the sister who remained behind on the farm marries: her husband is one of many sons, and neither family have the resources for the young couple to set up their own home. So the husband joins Imraan’s family unit, and Imraan is happy.
Another man in the house to support the family. Someone to bear half the responsibility. There will be children, and the house will be filled with laughter.
When Imraan is 26, he is Searched. A delightful surprise. Would he like to become a candidate, and maybe, one day, a dragon rider? He is too old for Fort, but High Reaches is not too far from their family farm- and his family could surely come and visit.
With his younger brother old enough to start taking up the reins of the family, and with the security of knowing his sister’s husband will be around, Imraan heads to High Reaches to become a dragon candidate.
