FULL APPEARANCE:
K'tian cares very much about his appearance. He carefully cultivates the "cute and innocent" persona by whatever means he has to. His skin is smooth and pale, and he has a naturally youthful appearance that belies his true age.
His eyes are his favorite thing about himself as they are a bright green surrounded by sooty grey lashes. His nose is small, as are his ears, which suits him just fine. K'tian has medium brown hair that he keeps cropped to his chin with a small tail at the base of his neck.
K'tian prefer wearing clothing that is fashionable, yet cute to suit the image he has created. Colorwise, he prefers brighter, warm colors with red being his favorite.

K'tian spent turns cultivating the "cute and innocent" act he puts on in his daily life. In reality, he is only a little bit of an arse. Well, okay, he’s a lot of an arse. There is just one person that K'tian loves. And that person is K'tian. Simply put, he's a narcissistic pain in the butt. K'tian is arrogant to the extreme, and considers things that are his idea inherently the best simply because they were his. His arrogance isn't entirely misplaced, as this lad is rather intelligent and good at coming up with a workable idea or two on occasion.
Unlikely to accept help with anything, he also refuses to accept that he’s failed. This has made his attempts at crafts difficult, and his time as a Candidate and then rider even more difficult. Not just for him, but for anyone who has to deal with this arrogant prick.
He has grown proficient in using his looks and charisma to throw off other's perceptions of him. Although anyone who spends any real amount of time around him are able to see through his façade. This doesn't deter him from using his wiles on those people though, because however could he be wrong?
There is one thing he does adore (besides himself) and that is food. K'tian is a total foodie, and spends a lot of his free time in the kitchens both making and eating food. He's a halfway decent cook actually, which still doesn't help his feeling of pride or his arrogance.

Kaltian was born near the end of the Interval war, so while the war itself didn't really affect him, the follow up events did shape his life. He wasn't quite 10 turns when Armistice was declared. The boy was born in Igen to a rider and his cook mate. He was the only child of the pairing so he was somewhat doted on, giving him a bit of a superiority complex as he got older. He trained as a cook under his mother for awhile, gaining the same skills she had.
Originally he wasn't too interested in being a Rider. Taking orders and fighting Thread weren't really his style. Plus he liked his parents being wrapped around his finger.
But his father decided to transfer to Fort, talking Kaltian and his mother with him. He was so self absorbed in his teenage years that he honestly let the goings on just pass him by, barely noticing unless something specifically affected him. He continued working with his mother until in the kitchens.
He met someone at 17. Someone who had been recently Searched. Despite his normal treatment of others, they seemed to like him. He eventually came to desire to possess them. Since they were a Candidate, he determined the best way to win them over was to also become a Candidate. Plus it let him spend much more time with them. He even managed to cajole his way into sharing a room. His work did pay off in the end and the two formed a bond. He decided to stay a Candidate so he didn't lose what he desired.
Just after he turned 19, his time as a Candidate came to an end and he found himself Impressing a Blue who seemed as stuck up as he was. His mate didn't Impress though, which finally led to them splitting up. It was good they did though, since K'tian was busy being a Weyrling now.
The pair was a terror during Weyrling training. They both agreed that their was the obviously the best even though neither actually knew anything about...well anything. Somehow they didn't need to be held back due to being idiots, and graduated with their class.
After they graduated, K'tian decided to transfer back to Igen. He liked his old home and hadn't wanted to move in the first place. He spent the next several turns there, growing up, and growing more arrogant than ever.
Not that long ago, Allegretth ambitiously decided that the pair would best serve Pern in a new way. K'tian agreed and they transferred to Semeca Weyr. The pair settle in well enough and worked to get in the good graces of others so they could share some of their "good ideas".
