FULL APPEARANCE:
Robin is on the smaller side for men. Not just height wise, but he isn't particularly well built either. He looks more suited for on-the-books work rather than physical labor. It doesn't help that he wears clothes that make him look evernsmaller. Though they appear to be one size to big, he's adamant they fit him properly enough and enjoys wearing them. Robin has medium length black hair that sweeps to the left and hazel brown eyes. Though still young, he can often be seen with an expression of deep concentration that's sure to give him wrinkles sooner or later.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Robin is highly intellectual and friendly. He seemingly has the ability to make friends with anyone, once he sets his mind to it. He can be easily exasperated by more... colorful personalities, and prefers the company of people who are similar to him. However, he's not always happy and agreeable. He feels a deep sense of insecurity at times, and can become lost in his own problems. This effects his confidence greatly, and he is prone to spells where he doesn't think he deserves what he has. Though he's done nothing but his best, he often finds himself irrationally wondering if his physical ability is lacking. He has the skills to be a harper after all. Did he make the right choice becoming a rider? Robin often needs to convince himself that his path is proper, despite his doubts. A supportive friend group has also helped him realize his worth a little more.

SIGNIFICANT OTHER: Chrom
BIRTHPLACE: A Minor hold near Igen
HISTORY:
Robin grew up in a minor hold in the desert of the northern continent under the watchful eye of his father. His mother had been a traveler, one that had left soon after his birth. His father didn't seem keen on talking about her, so Robin never asked many questions. He was content enough with what he had, even if it wasn't a lot. Their hold was comfortable, and his father already had lofty expectations for him to live up to.
A searchdragon was all it took to throw a wrench into plans. Validar wasn't disappointed necessarily. If anything, he was quite proud when Robin was searched. Robin was only fifteen but suddenly it felt like all his father's expectations had grown even bigger. While he didn't feel pressured to accept, he felt sense of dread all the same. Igen was closest, but the weyr was unfamiliar and foreboding. Even though Validar hadn't followed him to Igen, he still felt the need to make his father proud.
He had been at Igen for two turns when Seoquith hatched. At seventeen, he hadn't yet felt the dread of aging out, but his impression came as a huge relief to him. Part of him wondered if his father would have preferred he impress bronze, but that wasn't a question he really wanted answered. Seoquith was a huge comfort, like a best friend Robin had known for most of his life. It did a lot to sooth his anxieties, which he was immensely grateful for.
Robin spent some time at Igen after impressing, but there was a certain allure to the unknown. Specifically, Semaca. The weyr was brand new, and it promised adventure. He felt much more confident with Seoquith at his side, and the thought of transferring didn't make him nearly as nervous as it had when he was searched. When he was nineteen, he decided to give in to his curiosity.
At Semaca, he became acquainted with Chrom, one of the candidates who had transferred there. Over the turns, they grew close, closer than just friends. The aftermath of the flood wasn't enough to deter his happiness. Robin took it all in stride, making sure he was as helpful as possible with the repairs. It gave him a sense of accomplishment. Now, only the threat of spotties seemed to linger on his mind. He worried, but he had faith that Semaca was strong enough to stay upright through the dangers of the southern continent.
