Bella is a tall, fit woman who takes quite a bit of pride in her appearance. She always looks neat and clean and most certainly looks well dressed. Whenever she doesn't have to wear clothes that are practical and meant for working, she will immediately slip into one of her fine dresses. She likes the color red, and one can see that in her wardrobe.
She has dark brown eyes and dark brown, verging on black, hair that is all the way down to her mid-back. She tends to keep it down, but can be seen with it up when she really needs to focus on her surroundings and not have it get in her eyes. Her skin is a warm tan color. Bella is one of those people who has aged really, really well, and still looks to be around her early 30s while being 40 turns old. She walks around with a sort of posh sensibility.

PERSONALITY:
Bella is an outgoing and chatty sort of lady with charisma abounding. She has no problems striking up conversations with both strangers and friends alike. She likes things neat and orderly, in both organizing her life down to the milliseconds and in making her home neat and clean. She is rather doting with kids and has that 'I want to be a mother' personality trait stuck in her mind from spending so much time around kids, both her own and the ones she raised in the creche. She has some version of empty nest syndrome and tries to fill the void of with doting on her flit or her wher as if they were her child. Bella is of the creative sort and likes to doodle in her spare time.
Bella is always looking for a way up in the world, and always looking for something or someone to fulfill her needs. Even if she is close in a relationship, if she finds something- or someone- better, she's going to chase them instead. She is not very loyal even if you've given her every reason in the world to trust her, she's never going to give you that same level of trust and respect. This means that she can come across as a backstabber, or someone who uses people until they serve no more use to her.

HISTORY:
Bella was the younger of two siblings born and raised in Igen Weyr. Her older brother Michael was always a bit of a big personality, and he had big plans and bigger ambitions to be a rider. Bella's ambitions lied closer to the ground. Admiring the creche workers, it turned out that when she got older, Bella would become one. She enjoyed her job greatly and felt a sense of self-fulfillment in working in her dream job.
Bella would meet her later-weyrmate through her brother while he was in candidacy. Mortimer, son of the holder of some small hold near the weyr, was always hanging around with her brother. Michael introduced the two to each other off-handedly one day and Mortimer and Bella were attached at the hip ever since. They never really got out of the 'honeymoon phase' of their relationship and never brought up any problems they had with the other, so they spent every day with each other peacefully... with some resentment bubbling underneath.
Soon came more additions to the family. The two became weyrmates and welcomed Mortimer's new dragon, Blue Guitth, into the mix. Bella found a firelizard egg and ended up with a green flit named Plumbob. Soon after came their first born, Cassandra. Four turns later, their son, Alexander, came into the mix. All was well for a few more turns as they continued in their honeymoon phase.
The most important addition came in 2765 when the weyrmates went out to a gather. Bella had talked Mortimer into playing one of those rigged gather games to try and win her the top prize, a wher egg, as a joke. She had figured that since Mortimer had his fair share of marks saved up from his father back home in the hold sending him money, as well as marks he had earned in his own right, he wouldn't mind wasting a few on some dumb game. She was right, of course.
Bella had also figured that there was no way that she'd win the wher egg. She was more focused on not taking smaller prizes in order to build up enough points in the game to get a different prize instead. Unfortunately, luck was not on her side. After a handful of games, Mortimer had won her the wher egg and there were no takebacksies. The egg was placed in her hands, and it broke open to reveal a hungry garnet wher moments after. Her name was Bellask, and she promptly bit Bella on the hand for holding her so high up while she hatched.
This was the beginning of the end. Bella no longer worked in the creche. Bella and Mortimer's schedules no longer matched up as Bella was now nocturnal and Mortimer was diurnal. They didn't have much time to spend with each other save for a few hours each day when they were both awake. Their lack of communication skills with each other outside of lovey-dovey conversation showed that they didn't really have much in common and that they were together just to be together, not because they loved each other. Mortimer accused her of not spending as much time together as they used to, which Bella thought was ridiculous because they couldn't do that anymore. The next thing they knew, all the problems they had but never spoke of started bubbling to the surface.
To Bella, the one good thing about getting Bellask was meeting the people in her squad. Or meeting one person. Pollitek of Green Pollitesk. He was funny, and kind, and always had a shoulder to lean on when she needed it. She developed a small crush on Pollitek that she had no plan on acting on until Mortimer and her split up. A while after that, her and Pollitek started a relationship that was much better and built on trust and talking to each other. Her relationship with Bellask improved greatly once Bella stopped seeing her as a detriment and more as a lifesaver.
Bella recently transferred with her boyfriend, Pollitek, to Semaca. She did not tell Mortimer, nor her parents, her brother, nor her kids. She just wanted out. A fresh start with no Igen baggage weighing her down. Sure, she regrets not telling Cass and Alex, but an apology letter from mom will smooth things over, right?
