FULL APPEARANCE:
- Short, Giana stands barely five feet four inches in height and is delicate in frame. She has big brown eyes, a button nose, lips that smile easily, and long straight brown hair. She dresses in practical clothes in shades of brown most of the time, mostly leathers. She does love a good gather, however, and dresses to the nines in bright colors when one comes up! She is never seen in skirts, however, preferring trousers at all times. She’s also big on boots. She stands in an easy, relaxed posture with a smile on her face.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
- Friendly and easygoing, Giana is a sweet girl with a gentle nature. She's not the sort you'd expect to find in a position that requires toughness, but she can be firm and lay down the law when it's called for. She's got a stubborn streak and is bold and brave.
A genuinely kind individual, Gi is loving toward her wher and others that are close to her, although not so much that she puts others before her all the time ... except Goranask. Goranask gets his way most of the time with Gia, who spoils him.
While kind and giving, Gia is also spoiled. Gi was the baby of the family and was raised alongside her father's wher; as such, she wasn't really told no as often as she should have been. Now she has a tendency to tear up if she doesn't get her way and is a little on the greedy side.
A daring person, Gi doesn't believe in limits. She pushes hard and fast and doesn't think there's anything she can't do. The same does not apply to Goranask, whom she is positively protective of. Having seen him seriously injured once, she never wants to see that again.
Gi is adventurous and loves to have new experiences. For example, traveling via a genuine pirate ship was fun for her ... if less so for Goranask, who is the more mature of the pair. She sometimes doesn't consider others in her lust for adventure, and she loves new experiences for the sake of them being new.

Giana, the youngest daughter of Gornan, grew up with Bronze Gorsk. He was fully grown by the time that she learning to talk, and he put up with her pulling and teething on his tail tips ... most of the time. She learned his boundaries quickly, and Gi ran rampant in the house with the wher, to the point one might think that she was the one bonded and not her father. The large wher was surprisingly patient with the toddler and took to her as well as she took to him.
Growing up alongside Gorsk, Gia loved her father's wher to no end. She pampered him in her father's off hours as she grew older, and he put up with the occasional flower crown on his massive head as he grew to be more and more stately as time went on.
When she was seventeen, her father died on duty and Gorsk was injured. In their mutual grief, Giana and Gorsk bonded and Gi set about nursing the massive bronze back to health. Over their wherling year Giana did well in rehabilitating Gorsk - now Goranask - so that he does not even walk with a limp, and he has taken well to having Giana as his.
This spring, Giana and Goranask have decided to move to Semaca Weyr. The new land and new opportunities appealed to Giana and her wher, and now that they were an established wher pair, they felt like they could go somewhere new, away from family and friends in order to find someplace just for themselves. They took a pirate ship (how exciting!) across to the new Weyr and became a part of the Weyr Guard. It was a good fit, not unlike their previous duties in Crom Hold, although with the added duties of protecting the Weyr from wildlife unique to the Summerlands.
