Sylvanas is quite tall, taller than her sisters are. She has pale blond hair and sharp ice blue eyes. She has a slightly muscular build due to her physical training in both her youth and as a dragonrider. She tends to wear darker colors, with some light gray accents in her wardrobe. She tends to have a somewhat annoyed look on her face when talking to most people.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Sylvanas is a woman who believes in doing what she views at right, no matter what others think. If she thinks something is bad or if someone is wrong, she will be vocal about her opinions, regardless to who she is speaking to. She can be very blunt and snarky as a result. If she thinks she has a better idea, she will also let it be known, even denying if she was wrong in the first place. Along with this, she can be incredibly headstrong and often refuses to give up in a challenge, no matter the risk to her own health.
If her views are appeased to, however, she can be easy to manipulate. She can also be rash in her decisions. She tends to be a very loyal person, often lending her hand to those who have earned her respect, trust or friendship. She ultimately believes in doing what is the best for where she lives. She is a very loving sister to her younger siblings, though she admittedly does not get along well with Atteria.

BIRTHPLACE: Small Cothold near Fort Hold
HISTORY:
Sylvanas lived most of her life in a small cothold outside of Fort Hold. She was a very headstrong child, almost a leader to the fellow kids she would play with. Her mother wanted to train her children how to hunt and Sylvanas was happy to learn. Her parents were normal cotholders, but hunting did bring them in extra money and food.
However, things changed soon when a riding pair came to the cothold when she was around fifteen. Sylvanas was playing with her younger sibling and they approached her. She was honestly surprised that she was chosen and was happy to accept the offer. Atteria was admittedly jealous, mostly due to the fact she was not searched. However, her mother and younger siblings were excited for her, Sylvanas leaving shortly after saying her goodbye to her siblings and mother.
Sylvanas was confident she would make for a great dragonrider, though she did admittedly lose confidence during a hatching in 2761. She thought Tuckal was insane going out of her way to stop a gold dragon, who would later come out to be named Serapheth, from mauling another dragon. It was a long hatching, but towards the end, the Feather Fall egg began to hatch. The green dragon inside was very confident, but she also seems to dislike men, hissing at them as she walked past before finally coming to the candidate. Just like that, Sylvanas had impressed to Amaeth.
While the two seemed almost like opposites at the start, they grew close rather quickly. They became a strong pair, the two working well off of the others' perspective to find a middle ground to work with. They were often very efficient when it came to fighting thread once they graduated.
However, three years after they graduated, Serapheth would rise and have a clutch with Brown Vaugnairth, though the dragon was quickly exiled after cracking the gold egg while fighting a bronze dragon. Sylvanas believed the clutch was bad luck, especially when Benden riders attacked Serapheth during the hatching and kidnapped two riders. She felt disgust towards Benden Weyr afterwards and, while she was not part of the rescue group, wished the riders gave the weyr hell for what they had done. Her feelings of disgust towards Benden only got worse when she heard of what had happened to Alayna of Gold Wyzeth.
However, Benden would not be the only weyr she felt only disgust towards, as this would also change to High Reaches in the turn 2770 when two eggs disappeared from the sands of Fort Weyr and appeared in High Reaches. Was that weyr really that desperate they chose to STEAL?
Eventually, though, she would have her own issues with her weyr when Z'osh took over the weyr. She couldn't stand idly by and watch as her weyr was changed. The worst part, she felt like she was unable to do anything about it. No matter how VOCAL she was about her opinion, none of the traditional dragonriders behind the coup would even bother to hear her out. That's why.. she decided to leave. As she still didn't like High Reaches, she and Amaeth decided to transfer to Semaca Weyr, quickly joining the Requiem Squad.
She didn't expect to love her new squad as much as she did, though. She was able to use her training as a hunter to help in her tasks. Amaeth even noted that her rider seemed the happiest she had been in turns being in Semaca. That may have been why she chose to never return to Fort after Z'osh was exiled to Semaca Weyr. She admittedly wasn't fond of the pirates, but they didn't seem too bad, at least for now.
