FULL APPEARANCE: Scara has a slender build and light brown skin. She wears her curly hair at shoulder length and ties it up when need be. She wears practical, tight-fitting clothes that can't get caught on anything, and typically doesn't wear much jewelry. She has an attractive face with full lips and delicate eyebrows, which she's happy to wear plain. While she's a little on the shorter side, she has ramrod straight posture and carries herself with the importance of someone who knows she's part of the future of protecting Pern.

PERSONALITY:
Scara is proud and idealistic. She believes wholeheartedly that the protection of Pern is of the utmost importance, and doesn't suffer any slight against dragons. She can be stubborn and unyielding in her values, so much so that it's very easy to provoke her into a fight. She's not afraid of getting hurt, and she knows words don't always work.Scara thinks she's always right, which means she can come across as haughty and unempathetic if she doesn't agree with someone. She can be extremely inflexible, refusing to listen to someone even calmly explaining to her why her point of view might be incorrect or harmful.

Scara holds herself to extremely high standards, and does not settle for anything less than perfection from herself. She hopes to be a model dragonrider, the kind she would've liked to have seen growing up. When it comes to others, though, she is encouraging and understanding of limitations. She has a surprisingly patient side when it comes to people younger than her who are clearly struggling with something, and likes helping them find their own way of succeeding. She isn't afraid to call out an authority figure when she thinks they're making a bad call or criticize a rule that's obviously petty or outdated, but doesn't enjoy flouting them the way some of her fellow candidates clearly do.

Scara was born at Fort, where the regular power struggles and conflicts left a deep impression on her. From a young age, she was deeply aware of these struggles, and it pissed her off how often people were willing to put dragons in danger over petty politics. While she saw the value of the color hierarchy, she thought it caused more issues than it solved, particularly since every dragon could contribute to thread fighting in their own ways. She began to blame traditionalists for many of the Weyr's problems, meanwhile the scandal over the stolen clutch from Fort she attributed to the individualism of the Weyrs, and has since been vocal in her belief that Weyrs need to prioritize working together. After all, Weyrs whose populations get low shouldn't have to rely on the goodwill of other Weyrs to replenish them. If one Weyr falls, that becomes everyone's problem, don't the other Weyrs realize that?

Scara has been fascinated by the Southern Continent ever since it was discovered. A land unprotected by dragons yet still covered in greenery? As Semaca Weyr slowly established itself, she also was drawn to the idea of living at a Weyr where the hierarchy truly didn't matter, where there were no silly Holders with their silly ideas to distract from what truly mattered. She had been flirting with the idea of putting in for a transfer for a few turns, but finally decided to make it official after she didn't impress in the last Fort clutch, and because who wouldn't want to run away to a tropical south when winter hits?

Moggeth is a long, lean dragon despite not being particularly tall even for a white. He's clearly built for speed rather than strength, though he manages to avoid looking dainty. He's rather flexible, and has a habit of sleeping while contorted into the most uncomfortable-looking positions possible. His hide is a pure, pale white save for a black collar with a silver buckle at the base of his neck.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Moggeth is an asshole. He has an incredibly dry, sarcastic sense of humor, and he often makes other people's shortcomings the butt of his jokes. He has little to no patience for what he will often refer to as "overlooking the painfully obvious". He would rather snark about the trouble someone has gotten themselves into than actually help, though on rare occasions he will stir himself to give aid. When he feels like it, which has little to do with how much he likes the person who needs it and more to do with his current mood.

For some reason, some of his behavior is almost cat-like. He spends most of his free time napping, and occasionally pretending to nap if he thinks someone might be about to ask him to do something he isn't inclined to do. It can be difficult to tell if he's pretending or not, since he does have a talent for falling asleep at the drop of a hat. He hates water outside of being bathed in it, and that he accepts grudgingly. He also has a strong fondness for fish, and can frequently be bribed with it.

During times of extreme stress, a much darker side to Moggeth comes out. He gets blatantly vicious, his words going from sarcastic to downright cruel. Worse, if he's fighting something, he loses track of all distinction between friend and foe; he can and will attack his own allies. Under no circumstances can he be allowed in a Thread-fighting wing.

Toward his rider, Moggeth is almost affectionate. He's just as snarky toward them as he is everyone else, but he is far more helpful. He'll even answer questions he considers frivolous. Sometimes, at least. Other times he's still intentionally obtuse.

Voice:
Moggeth's voice has a surprisingly wide range of pitch, though he often tends to be slightly on the higher side. He's extremely expressive.
