FULL APPEARANCE: Penny is a girl of average height and built. She has somewhat long red hair that goes past her shoulders and curls up in the bottom with a black bow adorned on top. She often wears a tan colored blouse with a green overdress. She has pale skin and freckles dotting her face. She wears dark colored leggings up to her knees and wears dark brown shoes. She also wears a ribbon around her neck with a green gemstone.

Penny is a kind-hearted and polite young woman, albeit excitable. She often gets excited about the little things and this does distract her somewhat. Due to her growing up mostly by herself, she does not note many social cues and has a lack of social awareness. She does not know how to 'read the room' and can sometimes speak in ways that can make moments awkward. She is also very curious, having spent her childhood reading and finally being able to actually experience what she had only read about.

HISTORY: Penny's father was a kind hearted man who loved his daughter greatly. He worked hard on his farm, tending to the crops and allowing for his daughter to run around and have fun. However, it was a bit of a solitary growing up for the young girl. She had no siblings and her father was who she spent the most time with. When he had to deliver produce to places, she would often stay in her room, reading books and keeping to herself.
As she grew older, she became more and more inquisitive, asking her father about the world outside of the farm and he was happy to tell her. He told her about the different holds and weyrs there were. He even offered to bring her to the closest weyr, Fort Weyr. Naturally, Penny was excited.
Fort Weyr was much different than any place she would have imagined. Her father was worried she would be overwhelmed, but she found that she loved it. When they got home that evening, Penny spoke to her father and mentioned that she wanted to become a candidate. Her father was a bit surprised, but he was happy for her. He encouraged her and soon enough, Penny was able to start her candidacy in Fort Hold.
However, this would not be where the majority of her candidacy would take as she decided to transfer to the Semaca Weyr. Semaca was a frontier and she wanted to help out in anyway she could. Whether just as a rider or as someone to help grow crops.
