Nhelin had been quite busy with taking care of Nhelisk, but now that the little gold was asleep in her quarters, she could finally spend some time talking to Linny. After the hatching, she'd been exhausted, but it was a new day. Night, rather--and she couldn't be happier. She'd Impressed--even if it was to the most difficult gold, even if their personalities clashed--as had her son. No dragons for him, just a lovely, sweet blue, the sort who seemed to make him so happy. She was quite pleased by that. He deserved someone who made him so happy, after all.
As she knocked on his door, she called out, "Linny." It was "morning" for handlers, but he would need to get used to waking up nice and "early," if he was going to start the wherhandler life. As an ex-dual candidate, he wasn't especially used to the schedule, but he would adjust. She would make sure he excelled.
"Nhelin," she added, feeling it only important to state her own name. Other words just got in the way. He likely knew her voice, but just in case...she knew he'd open up for his mother.
