Nix chased after Bai, a stream of curses trailing behind him. The little white had gotten some sort of flyby up his tail and had gone darting off, winging his way down the corridor of the lower caverns. Kyozuth thought the whole thing was terribly amusing, but that wasn't really unusual. The brown's sense of humor had a cruel barb in it.
The cause of Bai's distraction was another flit, a round-bodied bronze with fascinating reddish markings on his wings. A handsome boy, but usually not something to be overly interesting to Bai. Unless, of course, he had something that was of interest to the white? Something Bai thought was a toy, perhaps, or some treat?
The little white perched near where they found the bronze, chirping and trilling at him excitedly. What was this mischief?
