While Amaata was something of a loner, that didn't stick for long in a place like a Weyr - especially a new Weyr, where she had to fit in with a new wing and learn everything about her new place in things. So far she'd done fairly well at keeping to herself as she learned the ropes, but she knew that she couldn't keep it up.

She was in the middle of feeding a morsel of her dinner to Skatha when the green hunched over her food, eyes swirling red as someone approached them. She had hoped to be able to eat in peace, but today it seemed like that wasn't going to happen.
