L'ra still had nearly a full Turn until she had to make a decision on which wing she and Tamith would enter, but she was in the weyrbowl when the new Flightleader began handing out feedback forms. One of the riders, one who evidently was not paying much attention to their surroundings, pressed a form into her hands despite the rank knots marking her out as a weyrling.
"What's the difference," she wondered aloud, musing mostly to herself. "Does it make a difference which one we pick?"
L'ra had planned to join Starfall when she and Tamith graduated into the fighting wings, but what if Raindance was a better option? And what would keep Tamith from going off on her wingmates, the way she was wont to do with at least one of her siblings?
Any wing that would accept such a traitor is not worthy. That's simply the truth. Tamith had never budged on this issue. Sometimes she agreed to a truce wherein she would not be the first to escalate a situation, but her temper often got the better of her. You know that.
L'ra noted a question on personality issues, as in whether or not there were riders who simply did not mesh together in one wing. What did that matter? They were there to protect the weyr, plain and simple. If a pair of riders did not want to get along on their own time, that was their problem. Nothing to do with how to run a wing.
"Some very odd questions here," she commented, quietly enough to be talking to herself, but loud enough to possibly be addressing someone nearby.
