Winters at High Reaches start early and linger long. Fearing that the protracted cold season is leading riders and handlers to go rusty at fighting thread, the Weyr Council has organized a series of contests between the wings this winter, showing off their threadfighting skills, like formations, tossing firestone and aiming thread. There will be five contests, for the prestige of the win and a shiny new trophy for your weyr. Onwards to glory!
