Nebulaeth is looking unusually bright and healthy these days- dare I say, shiny? Could Semaca soon have another clutch on the sands?

"She's a radiant star, that un'!" Devon gave Maynarth's hide a hearty slap, earning a cross grunt from his white compatriot. "You gonna teach her a thing or two, huh?"

Heck ya mean?! I ain't no goshdarn harper -

"I mean you're gonna fly her!"

There was a long moment of silence before both white dragon and whiterider burst into laughter. Faha! Dreamin'!

Of course Maynarth had no inclination to actually mate with ... well ... anything. But sure as shards would have been amusing to see the paranoid critter climb up after something so shiny! "Forsk, that'll be the day!"

V'geta eyed the white and its rider distastefully. He wasn't overly fond of whites in general; they just seemed extranious. Garnets - he could grudgingly accept garnets might be useful. They clutched and chewed firestone. As a result, he met their existence with a sort of suspicious contemplation. Whites, though? They were small and weird and generally speaking neither chased nor clutched. He couldn't see a use for them.

At least the white was dismissive of the idea of doing something so scandalous as chasing a Queen.

"I'm sure she'll find Saiyath much more to her liking," V'geta sneered, lazily, eyeing his handsome bronze. Maybe he'd actually manage to catch a Queen down here.

She is stunning, Saiyath observed, confident in his own unproven desirability.

Maynarth began to laugh so hard that he actually started choking. Again, how was this possible? The white could not physically laugh in the first place! Telepathy! Yet Devon gave his partner a hearty thump on the back. "Iz jest a little thing, Maynarth!"

HAA HAAAACK - ! He was certainly animated about it! When the white caught his breath, his neck slung over to side-eye the burly bronze. Far from intimidated by size, he took the mere presence as a challenge! And he bowed to nobody! You! Ehehe! The Bendenite! Kah! Ya musn't be familiar with Semaca, boyo!

"Eeeaaasy, Maynard!" Devon whispered, leaning sideways. 'Quiet' ... but loud enough to clearly be heard. "Poor lads from there can't handle much of their masculinity bein' questioned. Don't got 'nuff to go around!"

"Tch." His eyes narrowed; certainly, V'geta and Saiyath weren't familiar with Semaca yet, but golds were golds everywhere. Just because they weren't properly respected - the Weyrleader rode blue and Queenriders weren't given the title of Weyrwoman - didn't mean they were actually different.

"Where I am from hardly matters, because the fact is a white could never catch a Queen," V'geta pointed out snidely.
