Unay felt adrift. If she was being honest, she'd felt adrift for some time now. Hollow. Purposeless. As though the entire rationale for her existence had been stripped away. Somewhere along the way, the roaring inferno that had been her need for vengeance against those who had done so much harm to her family had died down to embers.

But... now what?

She didn't know how to be someone else. That driving need had been almost everything she'd known for so long. What was she supposed to do without it? There was Thread to fight, but that wasn't enough purpose for her.

There was only one person in the Weyr that she thought might know what to do. Maybe. She hoped he would have some idea, at least. She managed to track down Majima late one evening, as he was starting his day.

Unaware, really, of what was coming his way, Majima continued at his normal routine. Majimask was cleaned up, had his harness on, and there was a lot out there for the pair to patrol. Even though he had been banished here, and his organization basically nothing, that didn't mean that this place didn't need that same kind of effort to get going. Besides, Semaca was in need of every able hand they could get.

Majimask's rumbling altered him, and he turned to see the rider headed towards him. That was weird.

"Uh, can I help ya?"
