FULL APPEARANCE: Ailee would be an ordinary enough looking girl. She's neither exceptionally tall nor exceptionally short. Her hair and eyes are both an ordinary brown. She's cute, but far from a great beauty. She would be an ordinary enough looking girl...if she didn't dress so oddly. Elaborate hair styles, brightly colored clothes often embedded with sparkling rocks, heels so high only her innate balance allows her to walk in them...Ailee isn't looking to blend into the crowd. She prefers to stand out.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Ailee craves attention. From family, from friends, from strangers. She is always happy and chipper, sometimes annoyingly so, and there is no stunt too stupid for her to attempt. Which would be a problem except...she's oddly good at surviving them. Ailee is naturally agile and athletic and thinks quickly on her feet. Which is good. Since she has bad ideas a plenty. She prefers an audience, whether it's a few easy cartwheels or a high dive into the lake from dragonback.
That said, Ailee does not neglect her actual duties. She performs them well and diligently, throwing her full heart into everything she does. She could be an exceptional rider indeed if she kept her head on her shoulders instead of running off chasing accolades and adventures as soon as practice is done. But that is not the Ailee High Reaches has. This Ailee is a daydreamer and a romantic, thoroughly convinced everything will always work out for the best. She can also be a bit of a flirt. It's not that she doesn't BELIEVE in love...it's that how could she possibly choose? When she likes all of them and so many of them seem to like her back.

HISTORY: Ailee was born to a pair of drudges at High Reaches. She was one of seven daughters, all lovely and well-behaved. Her parents had little to do with her upbringing, being too occupied with their own duties. Many days it seemed they loved the Blooded ladies of the hold more than her. Ailee felt completely and utterly invisible.
So she tried to change it. She learned that when she smiled, other people smiled back. That she could make them laugh and cheer with flips and cartwheels. But still her parents were always too busy, sending her off to play with her sisters or help with the chores. And then she turned old enough to start assisting in her own right, to prepare for a future as another invisible, anonymous drudge.
When the riders came on Search soon after she turned 15, she was at the front of the crowd. If she couldn't be somebody as a rider, how would she ever be? The rider agreed to take her and she went. She wanted a gold or a bronze or a white or a bright pink garnet or most especially a unique, something rare and shiny and eye-catching. At the weyr, she entered Harpercraft, because she loved to sing and dance and to feel the gaze of the audience on her.
Turns passed. She Impressed nothing but a troublesome gold flit named Galaxia. The fire lizard was a gift from a friend who Impressed a dragon and no longer had time for the unhatched egg her parents had brought her. And then it happened. She had a dragon, a small green, all her own. She was disappointed. Greens were common and ordinary. But Suventh seemed nice at least...And she was better than nothing. So they stayed, entered weyrlinghood and waited for the day she could go home and (hopefully) wow them all. They graduated a few months ago. But it still hasn't happened. Because it can't until it's absolutely perfect.
UPDATES
- Late Fall, 2766- Suventh gets dust in her eyes and collides with Wintrath. In the crash, Ailee's left leg is badly broken (Major).
- Early Spring, 2767- Suventh's left wing is burned when she flies too close to Amizuth's flame (Moderate). Ailee's left arm is badly broken in the subsequent crash-landing (Major).
- Late Fall, 2768- Suventh collides with Yorth, the blue's foot catching Ailee's back. She sustains several deep cuts, along with a dislocated shoulder (Major).
