Tabytha is a slender young woman, some might even go as far as call her a stick with lady bits. Nothing really that remarkable stands out about her, other than her chocolate brown eyes that look like someone rubbed the reddish brown mud in them and it stuck. Her hair is dark, thick and worn in braids, and only time she ever takes them out is to bath and sleep. She has full lips, usually curled in a hint of a smile and a prominent but shapely nose that fits her rounded face shape.

Her figure is average, her breasts are on the small side, and curves.. well she really has none. A thoughtful expression is often on her face, as if she is studying everyone around her.

PERSONALITY:

Tabytha is a reserved young woman and often will be polite but firm in her beliefs and refuses to give into the anger that often surges inside her at people looking sideways at her that she impressed to a dragon as small as she is. While she has some issues with socially appropriate behavior, she is usually an amicable individual to be around.

However, while that is said, she does have issues with self loathing and hates bullies with a passion. She also tends to anger sew as a stress release, often getting frustrated in social situations where she puts her boot down her throat and offends her fellow riders. Its something she is trying to work through but little socialization during her formative years left their mark and her brain chemistry just does not process things well when it comes to the social.

Taby was born the child of riders in High Reaches and there was nothing really remarkable about her past. Her parents were both green riders and she had an older sister named Cyntaba she fairly close to. When her sister was chosen to be a candidate, Tabytha began to become aware she was a bit lonely and isolated. It was this time at age 8 that her mother became pregnant once more. She was elated at the idea of having a baby sibling and helped her mother the best she could.

But it was not to be as early on in the pregnancy, her mother miscarried. It was a heavy blow to the family but she took it almost as hard as her mother had, becoming sullen and withdrawn and not wanting to really speak much to others. Her teenage years seen a change from a soft spoken but happy child into a sullen and broody teen. It was then when she really did not care about pursing anything other than her love of sewing, which she used to cope with her inner turmoil that she was sought out to be a candidate. She really did not want to accept but her parents pushed her towards it, worried she might just vanish fully into herself otherwise.

So off she went to High Reaches. She began to find that the lessons and education seemed to perk her up a bit and as she started socializing with roommates and fellow candidates... that she was actually finding a peace she never knew. That peace was further extended when a lovely garnet hatched from a reddish egg with a white heart pattern covering it. The baby dragonette tumbled out and darted over to Tabytha and looked up at her, irises bursting in rainbows.

"Tabytha! I have been looking for you for so long.. will you be Kisarath's big sister?"

The dragon reminded her of the past.. of the sibling she never knew and part of her wondered if this was just a stroke of fate that this dragon she had impressed happened to have the personality of a small child. Being that her dragon was tiny, even by Garnet standards, she was often given lighter loads of work once she joined up with Moonshot wing, the pair making excellent scouts due to being light on their feet.

While the politics rage around them and changes are on the horizon for their home, she is actually rather content with her life and happy to stay out of any business that does not involve her directly, though curious for the future.

Kisarath is a small Garnet, if not the smallest around, she is close. Her tiny form might be said to be because of the mutation as a Garnet that made her but she isn't about to let that stop her. She is a almost pure red, though swirls of rose pink cover parts of her body almost as if her genetics could not decide on a shade.

She has a unique pattern of swirls and rings that descend down her tail and a clear heart marking right before the tail tip splits. Her chest has a star and a sideways crescent moon marking on it, almost giving off something otherworldly about her.

She radiates an almost ethereal glow in her eyes and her colors shine brightly in the light of day, like a glittering gem, only adding to the sort of ethereal vibe she gives off.


PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:

Kisarath is a gentle and curious soul, wanting to follow her rider around and learn everything about the weyr around them. She is an extremely friendly and open soul and does not know a stranger or an enemy. Her curiosity is almost child like and her excitement about learning new things and meeting new dragons is almost overwhelming.

When it comes to her rider however... there is nothing she won't do to protect her, even if she has to stand up to bullies, despite her small size. She refuses to allow anyone or anything to mess with Taby and faces down threats fearlessly as a gold would.


Voice: A singsong and almost melodic voice comes from this little garnet, almost as if she is eternally a child.

-The general idea of her connection with her dragon and friends letting her finally move past her loss is a good one, but please tone down the idea of the dragon as a direct replacement for her lost sibling. Namely, this line: "The dragon reminded her of the past.. of the sibling she never knew and part of her wondered if this was just a stroke of fate that this dragon she had impressed happened to have the personality of a small child" and the fact that her dragon calls her "big sister". Kisarath can help her move on and find new ways to be happy without the dragon being a one-for-one substitute for her loss.

-Dragons and riders do not get lighter workloads because a dragon is small. Greens, whites and blues are often smaller than Kisarath and their riders are still full-riders who work just as hard as any others. Additionally, while Kisarath is small for a garnet, she is still within the normal size range. There are two smaller garnets at Fort alone and there are a number of garnets her size or smaller and there are many, many blues, greens and whites who are smaller than her.

-All HR clutches from 2762 on were on-screen, which means Kisarath cannot be retconed in. I recommend just having her hatch at Telgar and then transfer in. Kisarath also needs a birth year.

-Also remember candidates must be at least 15. As it sounds like Tabytha was a candidate for a little while before she Impressed, she would probably be at least 19, since her dragon is 3.

-Staff does not generally allow dragons based on small children to clutch. Usually, we write them so they don't even rise (see green Nanakoth for an example). We would prefer that Kisarath similarly not rise, but at the very least ask she does not clutch.
