FULL APPEARANCE:

Jazzlyn has a fair skin tone that is more pale than anything else. She doesn't have any beauty marks or moles that she knows of, yet a simple farmers tan line is visible in the summer.
Her face looks surprisingly a bit younger than youd expect at first glance. She had a small nose that's more rounded than pointy, and is dished well into her face shape. Her cheek bones are set a bit high, and are thinner than some may consider favorable. They are simply rather predominant.
Jazz's eyes resemble her mother's darker earthy green eyes and her lighter lashes that are rather easy to miss.
Her hair is what some would describe as wispy, light, and flowing. Jazz has wavy dark brown Hair that she prefers to wear down unless she absolutely has to tie it back. She'll sometimes add a green ribbon that'll set off her eyes.
For clothing, jazz prefers to wear something practical, that looks nice, but is still comfortable. She can usually be found in light cotton button down shirts that are of all colors tucked into light skirts or khaki jeans. Her shoes of choice are black lightweight combat like boots, or brown leather boots.
Another gift from her uncle was a leather satchel that matches her brown boots. You can always see her with a bag of some sort.


PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Jazz is a soft type of person in general. She cares about the well being others, and is usually trying to find the good in any situation. She is a good listener and is always open to hearing about problems and offering free advice. She enjoys coming up with small ways to help those around her relax and appreciate the little things.

Jazz is a people pleaser. This can get rather out of hand and she may focus too much on someone else rather than her own needs. Sometimes she'll even forget to eat. Her caring can take a toll on her, and sometimes her friends. Jazz worries about little things and will often act like a mother hen. She can get sort of bossy about it. 

Jazz is also a little bit of a control freak, entering the negative spectrum. She also tends to form strong bonds to those she let in to her life, and is emotionally clingy to people. If they leave her, she'll be devastated for a long time after.

Another thing Jazz likes is control. She is a bit of a control freak in most situations. It helps her keep a level head. It doesn't have to be her in control all the time, just so long as things are going right. If things start to go haywire, it makes her feel overly anxious and helpless until she can gather her thoughts.

HISTORY:
Jazz was born to a young couple in the first year of their marriage. Arianna and Peter did not want a child so early into their new lives together, and often made that clear even though they did their best in the time that they cared. They worked on raising her but just weren't ready for children. 

In the beginning, Arianna was left to raise the little girl while Peter was out. The younger mother was barely above being a girl herself, and handling the chores and cooking while raising a baby was incredibly draining for her. Peter would often come home tired and hungry from working on his trades all day and could be short with his wife. 

As Jazz grew into a younger child, she was often made to help with the chores, or made to stay in her room and play by herself for hours on end. She was much closer to her mother than she was her father in these days since he had to go out and work for their income. He was a stern man and believed in realism rather than emotions. 

Jazz's upbringing stayed about the same for the first ten years of her life, and she eventually grew closer with her mother, as they would bond over talk during prep or cleanup. She was sometimes allowed to play out in the river for fun, and would bring home little lizards and insects to show her parents, and her moms older brother Thron when he was over.

While her life wasn't so bad with her mom in it, it wasn't the best due to her father. Nothing was ever quite good enough, and he often took it out on his wife and child.

Thron noticed that Peter was often stressing out his family, and had finally had enough of what he put them through. He offered to raise Jazz himself and teach her more than they could offer. Jazz spent the next half of her life with Thron, and was very grateful for this. He was much kinder than her dad, and cared over her every need and taught her new skills about the land. He even wrote her a book of notes which she still keeps with her. 

At 21, Jazz decided it was time put her knowledge to good use and headed to Fort Wyer to establish her future in mind healing.

Pern doesn't have exactly the same fashions as earth. While they probably do have some sort of light cotton button down shirts, the color range would be limited and they probably don't have khaki jeans. Supplies on Pern are limited and she doesn't appear to be from a wealthy background so while she can have a leather satchel, it would have been an expensive gift and she probably won't have a large collection of bags. You can just leave the description of her clothing a bit vague! You don't need to go into too much detail.

TPA does not allow parents under 21, even in backstories. I'm not sure what age you're thinking, but we don't allow teenage parents as it makes some people uncomfortable.

-On Pern, most children would help with chores, appropriate to their age and maturity. This is normal in a pre-industrial society and wouldn't be something unusual her parents were forcing her to do. It wouldn't have made particular sense for her to be confined to her room, if the idea is her parents didn't want to deal with her- she could have been sent out to play with other hold children.

-her father in these days since he had to go out and work for their income

Most Pernese don't earn income. If they don't have a particular craft, they'd likely be sustenance farmers, raising their own food rather than earning a salary. Jazzlyn and her mother would likely have helped with the farmwork sometimes when there was a lot to be done, even if Jazz's mother mostly did the housework and the farmwork was mostly her father's responsibility.
