Does your character have any personality preferences or concerns?: Yes, they want a dragon that is curious. Ronni hopes his dragon will be happy to spend hours with him drawing plants. He wants one that is friendly and likes other people and being around others.

Do you want your character to be eligible for gold?: No thank you
Do you have any personality preferences or concerns?: Not really - while Ronni wants a dragon that's like him, I'm always a fan of a dragon that leads to change, growth, or struggle
Do you have any other preferences or concerns?: Nope
Why do you think these choice/s would be a good fit?:

Do you have any preferences about the conditions of your character’s impression?: No, I always like a spot of drama though (who doesn't!)
Are you alright with your character getting hurt? What injury level is acceptable/what should be avoided?: Yes, any level as long as he isn't blinded nor his hands injured
Are you willing to impress a creature with a mutation/oddity? Anything that should be avoided?: Yes

-Pern doesn't really have traveling performing groups. Travel is dangerous. The only people regularly on the roads are traders or the holdless. My advice here would be to make them traders who perform for a few extra marks/the fun of it or a family of harpers traveling with a trading caravan, for adventure and because tradersalso need someone to teach their children.

-To apprentice as a scribe, Ronni would have had to settle down somewhere a journeyman or master scribe was living. Apprenticeship isn't really remote learning amenable. Children over 14 are not usually accepted as apprentices outside of the weyr. 8-14 is generally the age range for new apprentices.

-Why could his parents move with him to Harper Hall instead of the weyr? They were harpers, after all. He couldn't apprentice with his parents but they could all live there.

-Most children on Pern are not potential dragonriders. The odds were good Ronni didn't have the potential. Why did his parents get so set on this idea?
