BASICS
NAME: (Elided, Full. Nickname/s, if applicable.) Ex: "O’kzel, born Ockzel. Called “Ock” by his friends."
GENDER: (How your character identifies and wishes to be called. If trans/genderqueer, feel free to include their birth assignment.) Ex: "Male, assigned female at birth" or "Genderqueer, comes off as male at first glance".
PRONOUNS: (1 / 2 / 3. "[1] took it from [2]. It’s [3] thing.") Ex: “They took it from them. It’s their thing” would be they/them/their. He/him/his, she/her/her, and they/them/their are the common three, but we accept neopronouns here: ne/nem/nir, ze/hir/hir, and xe/xem/xer are three sets currently in use.
ORIENTATION: (Romantic-if-applicable, then sexual.) A heteroromantic heterosexual would just be labelled as "Heterosexual", but an aromantic asexual is referred to is labelled as "Aromantic asexual". Ex: "Lesbian", "Biromantic, Heteroflexible", "Confused", "Too Young", etc. We also accept witty commentary.

BIRTHDATE: (Season and Turn) Ex: "Born Late Winter, 2724." or "Winter 2724" are both acceptable forms.
AGE: (Age as of current Year) Ex: "40 as of Spring 2763." or "40 (Spring 2763)" This allows people to, at a glance, see how out-of-date that age is without having to do all the math in their head or assume a years-outdated age is accurate.
LOCATION: Currently, Fort Weyr, High Reaches Weyr, Semaca Weyr, Fort Hold, and the Healer Hall are our only playable locations. If your character has yet to arrive at that destination, please input the location they will be brought to/searched for, for census sorting purposes.
OCCUPATION: Jobs and titles are cumulative– becoming a rider does not preclude you from being a journeyman or master craftsman. Ex: "Weyrleader, wingleader of Aurora Wing [temporarily on leave], Journeyman Healer, Searchrider" is a technically plausible list of occupations and titles.
WING: Put in N/A if the character is a candidate or whercandidate, otherwise feel free to delete if it will not be relevant.

APPEARANCE
EYES: Natural colours only, please. Ex: "Black-brown", "Left eye green, right eye blue" or "Her left eye is blue, but the right eye is a mass of scar tissue". Note: heterochromia (eyes different colors, a patch of brown in a blue eye, etc) must be earned as a character trait prize.
HAIR: Natural colours only, please. Feel free to put in a short description of hair type or style. "Brown, densely-curly, and styled into a puffy cloud" or "Blonde, thin and wispy, tied into a straggly-looking ponytail" are both acceptable, as is simply "Red".
HEIGHT AND BUILD: Please put height in feet and inches, please, Pernese average is 5" taller than Earth averages. World average for males on Pern is 6' and is 5'8" for females. Build is a description of their weight and bodytype. Ex: "6'7". Tall and lanky, he holds most of his height in his limbs and looks weedy and ill for how gangly he is" or "5'8, adorably chubby".
PLAY-BY: (Delete if not applicable!)
EXPY SOURCE: Character name (Media). This only needs to be filled out if this is an expy of a character that is not the same as the play-by; for example, an expy of Dana Scully with the play-by of Gillian Anderson would be in the format "Dana Scully (The X-Files)".

APPEARANCE: (1-2 Paragraphs, max 300 words) Ideally, this will be a couple paragraphs. You can write about your character's stature, their cleanliness, their sense of style or preferred clothing, and any notable features– missing limbs, scarring, etc. Third person, present tense.

Do you have any personality preferences or concerns?: Sometimes, a domineering or abrasive personality type is perfect. Sometimes, it would ruin a relationship and undermine a character's development! If you have worries or ideas of what would work well, tell us! We'll try to accommodate for it.
Do you have any other preferences or concerns?: Say you're really set on a male dragon for your character, but you'd be fine with a male green. You could mention something like gender here!
Why do you think these choice/s would be a good fit?: Would it be funny? Appropriate? Would the personality help fulfill or complete them? Would impressing a colour they didn't want or weren't expecting help them grow as a person? Feel free to elaborate here.

Do you have any preferences about the conditions of your character’s impression?: E: avoid impressing first, impress near the end of candidate career, go at least one hatching without impressing, get injured before impressing... We'll try to keep this in mind when we do this, but keep in mind that we've got limited choices and a lot of candidates, as well as a pre-set hatching order and babies already attributed to certain eggs– we won't always be able to accommodate for this! Still, if you ask not to impress your first hatching we can at least reasonably guarantee that.
Are you alright with your character getting hurt? What injury level is acceptable/what should be avoided?: We will never hurt your character without your express permission and will only do so in ways you find acceptable, and we will not kill candidates without explicit permission.
Are you willing to impress a creature with a mutation/oddity? Anything that should be avoided?: Note that we can't guarantee you a dragon with a mutation or otherwise unusual.

Is there anything you will ABSOLUTELY NOT accept?: If you have way too many browns and don't need another, say so here. We'll be happy to accomodate! If you say you refuse anything short of a gold, a chimeric, or a unique, you're probably not going to get that first-hatching impression you were hoping for, short of earning a post ranking prize before or shortly after you make that candidate.
