FULL APPEARANCE: Rhea looks very much like her one brother and seven sisters. She's small and fair and blonde and quite a bit less delicate than her petite figure would suggest. She is always dressed neatly, favoring nice hats and well-cut clothes, often in blue. Her movements are self-contained and while she smiles readily, it comes with restrained warmth instead of bubbly exuberance.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: The third daughter in a very large family, Rhea is used to being one of the crowd. It doesn't much bother her. She doesn't need attention or validation or to be given any special regard. She knows she's not that unique- after all, there are six other girls out there very much like her. So she focuses on what she can do. She doesn't have to be special to be important. Rhea believes she can make the world better by being kind and decent and looking after those closest to her. She will never determine the fate of Pern or do anything to inspire a Harper's song. That doesn't mean she doesn't matter.
Rhea loves her family very much. She came to Fort to take care of her brother and that is what she's going to do. Whether he wants her there or not, whatever other duties might pull at her, she is his sister and that is her priority. Somebody needs to fight for him since he no longer can do that for himself.
When she's not looking after her family, Rhea is a polite, professional wherhandler who does her job and tries not to cause problems. She takes her duty seriously and even though she is not particularly ambitious, she still would like to do it well as a point of pride. She isn't power hungry and believes in the power of peace, diplomacy and forgiveness. Rhea isn't inclined to carry grudges or wish people ill. She thinks such resentments simply build up and poison the ones who hold them- as they once did her father.

SIGNIFICANT OTHER: N/A
BIRTHPLACE: A cothold beholden to Igen
HISTORY: Rhea was born the third of seven daughters and eight children to an affluent, wher-handling family near Igen. Her childhood was comfortable enough. She went to Harper lessons, played with her sisters and was generally content. When her mother died in childbirth, she mourned but she was young and still had a large family to fall back on.
Her father did not. He tormented their youngest child, Quatre, insisting the tragedy was his fault. Rhea, like the rest of her sisters, did not believe it and did her best to make Quatre feel welcomed and valued.
When Rhea came of age, she expressed interest in becoming a wherhandler and Eraque dutifully presented her with one of Eraqusk's eggs, which hatched a green named Rheask. Rhea did her part to protect her hold and never strayed very far from home, even as Quatre and some of her other sisters set off on their own adventures.
She never did hear much from her brother once he left. While he wrote, her father threw most of his letters out without showing them to Rhea or any of her other sisters who had remained. Thus it was only a couple of turns after the fact that Rhea learned what had happened to him- he had Impressed, but his dragon had died and left him little more than an empty shell.
Rhea left for Fort the next day. Sure she'd heard stories of crazed, murdering golds and something about strange black dragons but...it didn't matter. He was her brother and she was going to save him.
UPDATES
- Rhea is nearby when Fortran is pushed into the Thread burrow, and attempts to save him. She is unable to pull him out, and sustains major Threadscore to both arms, though she'll fully heal with no loss of function (Major).
