How long are seasons?
Seasons are 2 OOC months long. Each season lasts 3 months IC (with the exception of winter, which is 4 months IC). We have about 1 1/2 Turns per OOC year (roughly).

What are "[Event]" and "[Rumor]" topics?
[Event] and [Rumor] topics are open threads with a single line or two of plot to get two characters playing. They can be something as simple as a rumor about someone favored to become Weyrleader, or an event about someone finding a cache of firelizard eggs on the beach. They're for anyone to play in, and are meant get characters and players interacting. If you have an idea for an Event or Rumor, send the staff a note with your idea.

What are the Post Ranking Prizes?
The Post Ranking Prizes are little rewards for members who are active. If you're a slow poster, don't worry, everyone has a shot at every prize. They are just optional rewards for players instead of having a shop where you must buy everything.

Why do we need to put trigger warnings on some things?
Because it is basic common decency. Trigger Warnings are here to keep anyone who doesn't want to see fights, unpleasant/violent imagery, suicide mentions, or any other unpleasant content safe. We want this site to be a safe place OOC. The Triggers Guide can be found here.

Can I get the dragon lineart to play with?
No. We staff paid for the linearts, and don't want to risk them floating around the internet. If you want a picture made of your dragon or wher, post in this thread or in the #art_requests channel in Discord.

Why does the admin staff handle the hatchings? Can I run a hatching?
Simply put, we want everything to run smoothly. We don't want people fighting over member bias or "So-and-so gave me a color I don't want because he/she/ze doesn't like me!" Staff handles the hatchings to keep bias to a minimum, and to not add any pressure or work to players. As for the second question, you may earn the ability to help run a hatching through post prizes, but final say will still always lie with staff.

Can I make some adoptables?
No. Only staff can make adoptables.

Those avatar chibis are cute! How do I get one?
The chibis are done by Jabberwoky, and here is a thread full of unused chibi whers and dragons that you can use!
