Remy of Blue Resk- Tuckal, Kichsk, mention Chess

In the chaos of the caverns and the din of multiple people giving orders, Remy began to get disoriented. She was normally calm under pressure, but there was a sharding lot of things going on at once and it was becoming too much. Fortunately, Tuckal arrived and issued new orders, ones that trumped everyone else. "Roger!" She shouted and immediately turned to chase after Resk, though she had little hope of catching him. New game plan, get Kichsk out of the caverns and into the Weyrbowl. Don't engage him if you don't have to.

Hear new plan. Can do. Resk replied in acknowledgement. His gait shifted slightly to try and preserve what stamina he had left, but his determination remained unchanged. If getting the brown wher out into the open would keep others from getting hurt, he would do it.

Chess of Brown Kichsk - Tuckal, Reinhardt, Resk, mention of Rhaadys

Kichsk snorted as he continued his tear through the weyr. The blue wher following him was persistent, and perhaps was he gaining on him? Kichsk let out another furious bellow as he clipped the unsuspecting Rhaadys. Again, Kichsk did not stop to inflict further damage on his latest victim, wanting to get to the outside of the weyr before the tenacious blue behind him could catch up.

Still refusing to speak, Kichsk merely sent a vicious snarl towards the blue Resk. He turned down a tunnel that led to the weybowl, following the scent of fresh air. The open air he desired more than anything in the world.

Chess stopped trying to push her way out of the crowd and listened to what the Weywoman was saying. Though she was having trouble processing everything that was being said around her. She gave Tuckal a stoic nod, ready to follow the plan. Enough people had been hurt, they had to get Kichsk outside and away from the innocents.

Kichsk, if yer hearin' this at all, just get the the weyrbowl. Folks're lettin' ya through, so don't hurt nobody more. She knew the thought was likely getting ignored, but wanted to send it in case there was a small sliver of Kichsk that was still bothering to listen to her.

She turned to the massive Wherleader. "Let’s get goin '. Ah'll leave ya behind if yer too slow." Even with Tuckal and Serapheth’s orders, she still wasn’t sure Kichsk was going to make it into the bowl unscathed. She needed to make it outside before anyone could hurt Kichsk. She took off at a sprint, a fiery determination to stop this madness now burning in her chest.

Cr'dile full-on scowled at Rhaadys, sizing him up with a look that clearly said, 'And who are you again?' He didn't really grunt out an acknowledgement, and he needn't not considering Marius was rousing to their conversation by adding tidbits of his own.

"On your feet, then," the brownrider commanded, although he still kept an arm interlocked with one of the cheesemaker's to lend as support. He might be callous, but brainlessness was not among his characteristics. "Sit down and out of the way against the wall here."

Serapheth's orders came almost as an insult to Dazth from his perspective, but Cr'dile hummed in response and clamped his mouth shut, teeth digging into the stick held taut between his teeth. "Dazth."

The big brown silently slithered away from the entrance, wedged head cocked towards the tunnel attentive to sound. Though his large talons flexed with the need to dig into something big and reckless, to deny his queen her command was an atrocious thought. Suddenly there were noises, and a very wher smell. Dazth's head jerked. He's heading this way.

"Just in time, hmm?" Don't let him bolt into one of the other tunnels, once he's outside. We don't need to add more casualties to the list. He assisted in settling Marius in, handing him his own jacket to press against the wound. "Keep it tight on the wound and press hard," he ordered, swiveling his head - just in time, as it were - to see Rhaadys clipped. Cr'dile clicked his tongue. "Casualty detail, eh?"

He allowed a brief, and very real, expression of concern to pass over his face as he glimpsed the garnethandler's possible injury, before slinking further into the caverns to see who else might have been mauled. It was safer to do so now without the thread of being attacking looming around any corner.

Marius was perfectly content to follow the brownrider's orders. Riders were used to this sort of thing. They fought the monstrous Thread after all, this was just a different sort of foe. One that could get them even when they were safely underground. That was a sobering thought.

He sank to sit against the indicated wall, trying to stay out of the way of the... everyone running around. There were a lot of people, and a lot of loud noises. All of this was some huge commotion that he just... didn't understand. Where had he gone so wrong simply walking into the hallway?

He tried to push the rider's jacket away, to say he couldn't accept something like that, but the man was already walking off again to deal with... whatever it was.

"What's going on?" he asked, still looking around nervously.

Kichsk rounded one last corner, the blue close on his heels. He could see the glow of the night air outside the weyr. The open and free air he so desired. He let out a rumbling growl, pushing himself for one last powerful push to make it into the weyrbowl.

Bursting from the tunnel entrance, Kichsk let out a massive snarl as he skidded into the open space. His eyes swirled an angry red. He was outside, yes, but that pesky blue wher was close behind, and now there was a large brown dragon in front of him who looked like he was fixing for a fight.

Without hesitation, Kichsk sprung on the dragon, fangs bared and claws ready to strike. He found a grip on the dragon's back and bit hard, releasing the pent up frustration in the form of gnawing and slashes.

Chess rounded the corner Kichsk had, sprinting after him. Her lungs rattled and burned as she drew shallow breaths. Running and crying was exhausting, and she just prayed it would be over soon. The pounding of her feet against earth echoed through the tunnel, ringing in her ears and resonating with the rapid beating of her heart. She still couldn't get much sense from Kichsk other than anger and aggression. She only hoped the outside would calm him soon.

Things were changing in the blink of her eye. The wher was outside, she was about to speak to Kreta when things seemed to get worse. But the wher was outside. That made this a little easier.

"Okay, everyone give that wher space once they're not... whatever is happening outside." She said as Chess vanished from sight. She followed, heading outside to see what sort of mess there was. This was still bad.

No harm may come to the wher! Serapheth ordered, landing nearby. Someone had to hold authority here apparently.

"Once Chess gets this under control, we investigate. Everyone who is not a Leader, go inside and help the wounded." Tuckal ordered in step with Serapheth. If everyone tried to tear off the wher, he would only get hurt, which may make him angrier. Tuckal did not want to make this worse.

No harm may come to the wher-

"Yet he's allowed to inflict damage to Dazth?" growled the brownrider. The large man pushed past the others, storming towards the entrance with rage billowing into his chest. "Get him off!"

Worry not.

He was a beast of composure. Though part of him longed for the fight that might extinguish the flames of anguish that this wher was apparently in possession of, he had no true drive to do so - not with Serapheth demanding pacifism (how unlike her). The calm of his voice was enough to calm Cr'dile's stride but the dragonrider still edged closer to the entrance to witness the events.

It did help ... getting the view, honestly. Once he saw the size of Kichsk against the backdrop that was Dazth, his anxieties dwindled. Still, Cr'dile clenched his fists.

It wasn't like Kichsk was a tick. The wher was burly and strong, with large teeth and powerful claws. It hurt. Pernese dragons lacked scales to block such attacks and thus, the dagger-like appendages sank into flesh and drew blood. Dazth attempted to crane his neck back to snatch the creature off his shoulders and found the reach was too short.

Cease this madness, he snarled. The longer Kichsk held on, the more it hurt. Sharp fangs pierced through his muscles, but only just so. It was annoying, and the brown shook his back in an effort to shutter the creature from his flesh.

"Have you go a handle on him?" Cr'dile asked aloud, not bothering to hide his irritation - and torn priorities.

He is a nuisance. I will manage. He contemplated rolling, and thought better of it. By his sheer size, that would mean a crushing blow to the wher. Instead, the brown crouched low to the ground. He still continued to thrash his body, hoping it would jostle the piercing teeth from his hide. I am not a wherry.

Remy of Blue Resk-tag Chess, mention Kichsk and Dazth

The chase was reaching it's climax when Kichsk passed the threshold and emerged outside, Resk still on his heels. He was flagging, though, and slowed once he was outside himself, held back only by Remy's insistence that he let the Brown be. Keep him from hurting anyone, yes, but not to antagonize him. There was a big brown dragon who seemed to be doing a fine job of that, so he was happy to guard the entrance to keep Kichsk from running back inside. He gave Chess a tired and what he hoped was reassuring chirp as she passed, but stayed put.

Remy joined him a minute later, bending forward with her hands on her knees to catch her breath. "Shards you're fast," She panted, forcing air into her lungs so she could get properly upright as soon as possible. She didn't want to be in a vulnerable position if Kichsk decided Resk was his next target.

Did good! Chase Kichsk out, keep away from people! He declared proudly, pep coming back to his step as he got a brief chance to rest. Will wait, guard door.

"Good. We'll stay here, I don't fancy getting between those two now," Remy said, gesturing with her head at Kichsk and Dazth.
