[Rumor] Talking Fire Lizards

A wherhandler--nobody can agree on exactly which one--swears up and down that they saw a fair of fire lizards all talking to each other. Talking! Let's go see if we can find them!

"Talkin' ... " Devon's eyes levelled at the person speaking. His brows furrowed hard as he subconsciously sucked on his lower lip, mildly intrigued but also ... looking at this person like they'd grown a third head. "Ya fall an' bump yer head, mate? Eat some mushrooms off the jungle floor? Come off it. We got big ass tunnelsnakes. That's bad enough. Don't need no blabberin', chatterin' flutterbies on top of t'all."

Semaca had enough crackpots running about. Didn't need no more. Devon and Maynarth were plenty.

[Dragon]

"It's a nice walk even if we don't find any talking flits," Giana answered with a shrug. "I didn't see them, it's just a rumor, but while we're out here anyway ..." She waved at the jungle around them.

Personally, she thought it was unlikely that some firelizards had suddenly started talking. The things could be sweet - even snappy little Zuu had his sweet moments - but they weren't terribly bright, generally speaking.

Goranask agreed with her. No talk, flitters. Nice still.
