"Klah is probably a good idea for the moment," Kairi said as Sayla poured herself some more of the beverage. She got up to do the same, looking up at Y'ang who was, quite properly, delegating responsibility. That was good. She was a practicing Healer, and Kairi's focus had turned to research instead after losing her arm. That meant this really was her job.
"I can collate the data we have on the poisons we've tentatively identified as well as their sources so that a Scribe can produce something for the cooks to compare the stock they're using against, since searching our stores can only happen so quickly," Kairi said. She sat back down with her klah. Research was a typo of adventure, she supposed. A journey of discovery into unknown places. Those places were just dusty records. And the journey was often incredibly boring. "While looking for more possible sources, of course."
She still didn't believe this was coming from foraging. She was sure Y'ang just didn't want to discredit the possibility in case it was actually true but... accidental poisonings at the same time as intentional poisonings of dragons and whers? That was far too great a coincidence.
