Bet’ti of Blue Trichath
Aha.
Well, hello there. I’d very much like to dare, m’lady.
Trichath confidently rose to his feet, his full, perfect, wingspan already spreading out to catch the afternoon breezes. Be back soon, dear Bet’ti. A beautiful garnet rises!
His large blue form smoothly shot off into the wintery sky after the glowing garnet; swiftly leaving behind his raven-haired rider, owlishly blinking at the weyrledge entrance where he’d just been only a scant moment before. A fresh cluster of snowflakes flurried across the stark stone, temporarily suspended within the wind gusts kicked up by such a quick passage.
Ohhh, by Faranth’s shardin’ teeth, Trichath, we were JUST about to get ready for our wing’s forsking afternoon drill! Rudee. What the forsk am I supposed to do, sprout my own wings?
AHahaha. Don’t you worry, Bet’ti; I’ll meet ya there. Betcha I’ll be back before you know it!
You better be!
He spiralled upwards in a momentarily close-winged corkscrew, his every motion seemingly effortless, even as he ignored the snow flurries occasionally peppering his multi-hued hide. Even the deepest bite of winter couldn’t possibly compare to the fire in his own belly! Resolutely closing his mind off from the indignantly grumbling Bet’ti, Trichath refocused on the pale-toned garnet whose call had rung out so boldly.
And it seemed to him that he was already the first dragon winging his way through the sky, ready to answer the lovely Homurath’s challenge.
Indeedy. Trichath, here. Challenge accepted! You look gorgeous among all these flurrying snowflakes, by the way. Winter suits you.
